Lane Garrison’s Lucky Break

Yet another celeb has slipped through the cracks of the U.S. legal system, with Prison Break star Lane Garrison shockingly sentenced to just 90 days in jail for vehicular manslaughter!
Judge Elden Fox stunned everyone when he announced that Garrison would not be serving the 4-year term as first thought, but would instead be a free man in a mere 3 months, after undergoing psychiatric evaluations to determine whether the star is a “suitable candidate for straight probation.”
No doubt, the family of the boy killed in the car accident Garrison caused after driving drunk was outraged that he was given such a lenient sentence, with the father calling the actor a “selfish” person who lacked “responsibility.”
The victim’s father continued with his personal attack on Garrison, claiming that the celeb’s apparent remorse had little to do with the fact that he was actually sorry, and everything to do with his career as an actor.
“He is an actor. He is acting. He killed a human being and he killed our son,” Vahagn’s father said.
“Yesterday was one of the hardest days. It was Vahagn’s birthday. He would have been 18.”
Garrison’s lawyers did little to help the young man’s distraught family, putting partial blame for the accident on Vahagn himself. “The young man died because he was sitting in a car with a drunk driver,” said one attorney.
No doubt we haven’t heard the last of this.
