Knightley-Friend Wedding on Hold??

Last week we reported that Keira Knightley and her beau of 10 months, Rupert Friend, were set to tie the knot – TomKat style…but it appears this may not be the case anymore.
A pal revealed that Keira and Rupert have been going through a “rough patch” lately, and that Rupert has been ‘acting up’ because he feels Keira neglects him.
“Keira’s a really loving girlfriend but she’s so insanely busy with work it’s untrue. She’s done everything in her power to make Rupert feel important but he still complains that he doesn’t get enough attention, and it’s causing real friction,” said the pal.
According to Keira’s pal, Rupert has said he feels like the “fifth element” in her life, and that she puts “everything else” before him.
The pal said: “While Keira was filming the last Pirates Of The Caribbean movie she flew her mum out as they’re very close and she wanted to spend some time with her. Rupert often turned up as he was filming nearby but he complained that they didn’t get enough time alone.”
It was then that their relationship problems started to affect Keira’s work and her co-stars.
“[Rupert] went out with the Pirates cast to the Les Deux restaurant in LA and although it started out as a really nice evening he ended up rowing with Orlando Bloom. Orlando was calling Keira by her surname which Rupert didn’t like. Then Orlando wanted the party to go on somewhere else, while Rupert was happy to stay put.”
“It all seemed really petty but it annoyed Keira as she doesn’t like her personal life spilling over into her work. She’s very professional and won’t let anything or anyone mess that up.”
Things got even worse for the pair when Keira refused to move in with Rupert. “She loves him but they’ve had some intense talks about where it’s going,” added the pal.
“She’s too young to settle down and she knows that work has to be her priority. It’s up to Rupert to decide whether he can deal with that – if not their days as a couple look numbered”. [Source]
It doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing them getting ready to marry in an Italian castle any time soon…
