Nicole Kidman has been depicted as self-obsessed.
Noooo, really?
US film critic David Thomson has written an unauthorized biography of Kidman which hit US shelves this week. In it he paints the actress as a power-hungry fame seeker who used her 10-year marriage to Tom Cruise to hit the Hollywood big time.
Does the word ‘beard’ mean anything here?
Her agent said: “Nicole has never met David Thomson – she has only spoken to him briefly on the phone about her acting processes and various films.”
She agreed to the interview only because she was under the impression he was writing a series of film essays.
The Oscar winner is yet to announce legal action against Thomson, who, in his previous book The Whole Equation: A History of Hollywood strangely confessed to having a deep crush on the star. [Source]
