Kevin Federline Awarded Sole Custody of Children
This was a decision we all knew had to come at some point, especially after Britney’s psychotic episode yesterday. Shortly after Britney was taken away to hospital, Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan called for “an emergency hearing” in the ongoing custody struggle.
In the hearing, which lasted a mere 40 minutes, Britney’s visitation rights were “suspended pending further order of the court,” awarding sole custody to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon said that the order would be in effect until January 14, at which point a new hearing would take place to determine the direction the case will go.
Kaplan told reporters after the hearing that “there are no winners here.” He added that he and his client were “not happy about any of the events that have happened.”
