Kate & Pete Marry in Phuket

Supermodel Kate Moss has married her drug-addict rocker boyfriend, Pete Doherty, in a private ceremony in their six star hotel villa on the Thai island of Phuket.
The couple exchanged vows on New Year’s Day at around 1.30pm (Thai time) in front of a small group of family and close friends.
Kate’s circle of friends (who did not attend the ceremony) are now concerned for their pal’s 25 million pound fortune, which they believe Pete will obtain half of when the couple divorce (which is almost 100 % certain).
Their has been no confirmation from either party yet as to whether the ceremony was a Thai Buddist-style ‘marriage blessing’ or a legally-binding wedding…although sources suggest that the presence of Kate’s personal assistant, her mother, and her brother, is an indication that it was in fact a proper, legal wedding.
Kate and Pete exchanged their vows in a forty-minute ceremony, which took place “in the picturesque private gardens of their five-bedroomed £4,500-per-night villa at the Amanpuri hotel.”
The bride wore a white Galliano shift dress with her blonde hair down, while the groom opted for an all-black linen suit, finished off with his trademark pork pie hat.
The gardens and villas were decorated for the ceremony “with flower petals, fragrant jasmine, orchids and a floral archway. White and pale pink lotus flowers decorated the pool.”
A source said: “The wedding has been planned with the utmost care and attention to detail. Virtually all the staff were informed that it was taking place but they have been under strict instructions to keep quiet about it. The couple was adamant that it should be a secret, private function.”
Private or not, I’m sure the wedding photos will pop up on the web somewhere shortly…
