Jude Law’s Delayed Reaction
Jude Law has fired back at fellow actor Chris Rock for his comments at the 2005 Oscars (which Rock hosted).
To refresh your memory (because it was a very, very long time ago!), Rock had a joke with some producers in the audience about making movies cheaper and said: “You want Tom Cruise and all you can get is Jude Law? Wait. It’s not the same thing, O.K.? Who is Jude Law? Why’s he in every movie I have seen for the last four years? He’s in everything. Even the movies he’s not in, if you look at the credits he made cupcakes or something.”
Jude recently said: “At first I laughed because I didn’t think he knew who I was. Then I got angry as his remarks became personal. My friends were livid. It’s unfortunate I had five or six films come out at the same time.”
Now, if Jude’s reaction time really is this slow, I think perhaps he might need to see a doctor! I mean, COME ON! Those comments were made in 2005 as part of an Oscars joke - everybody gets bagged out at the Oscars - it’s the presenters job!! GET OVER IT!!!
