Jolie Set Up By Pitt

It has been widely reported that Brad Pitt wants Angelina Jolie to fix things with her estranged dad Jon Voight. Last week at a birthday for Pitt’s Oceans 13 co-star Scott Caan seemed like the perfect opportunity for reconciliation. However, Sulky Jolie refused to go in until her father had left the party, choosing instead to sit outside in the car for 30 minutes.
Pitt finally went in to see if the coast was clear. Not long after, his almost father-in-law left the scene, and Sulky Jolie was able to join the festivities by sneaking in through the back door.
Now what at first seemed like a coincidence is now being reported by Life & Style Weekly as a set up. An insider claims that Brad actually asked Scott Caan to invite both Voight and Jolie, hoping that the two of them meeting would break the ice for a reconciliation.
Obviously Pitt didn’t count on her sulkiness being quite so uptight about the whole affair.
Sulky Jolie is not happy with Pitt’s attempts to interfere.
Pitt’s rep denies he had any role in the invites.
Voight hopes for a reconciliation one day, which should go some way to helping him remember his grand kids names. [Source]
