Jessica’s a Newlywed Again

Jessica Simpson’s mum has spilled the beans, telling a photographer on Tuesday night that her daughter is a newlywed once again, and has secretly married her boyfriend of five months, Tony Romo.
Simpson could do nothing but confirm the story when asked by the press, telling TMZ.com, “Well I guess if my mom said it, it must be true!”
Jessica and her mother, Tina, were dining out together in L.A. when Mrs. Simpson let the news slip to a nearby paparazzo. As they were leaving the eatery, one of the photogs called out to Jess, asking her when she was going to tie the knot with Tony.
Before poor Jess could get a word in, her mother laughed in reply: “Jessica is already married to Tony! What are you talking about?”
This sounds more like a ploy to keep the press off the scent than an actual admittance at being married if you ask me, but whether it was said in jest or not, it was still said… make of it what you will…
