Jessica Simpson might be a box office flop in America, but in Russia, she’s their # 1 leading lady.
Believe it or not, Simpson’s new comedy, Major Movie Star - which didn’t even get cinematic release in the States - debuted at the top of the box office in Russia. Shocking, right? And because of the film’s success in Russia, it’s next port of call is Bulgaria, where it will even get a premiere!
Of course, Fox News was quick to point out that the film hasn’t managed to snag a cinematic release in any country which has English as its primary language, but still, Jessica’s gotta be as pleased as a pig in mud that the Russians love her.
I mean, who wouldn’t be pleased about that?
