Former Dark Angel star Jessica Alba, who’s in Australia for a sneak peek of her new movie, Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer, has spoken in an interview of her love for our sunny country.
“I love Australia. We had a great time here last time, and the shopping is great!”
The 26-year-old actress and her three male co-stars were last here in 2005, promoting the first film in their Fantastic Four franchise.
Alba said that while she’s looking forward to shopping some more, what she’s most excited about is chowing down on a big piece of mouth-watering pavlova, because it’s “very Australian.”
“I have actually already done some shopping and plan to do some more. I am also going to eat some pavlova because that’s very Australian. Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi, oi, oi.”
She’s right, it is. And for those of you who’ve never tried a piece of the delicious summer dessert, you don’t know what you’re missing out on… who wouldn’t love sweet, sugary merigune topped with yummy fruit??
After her movie preview, Alba and her co-stars are staying on down under to attend the 2007 Logie Awards, the Australian version of the Emmy’s, showcasing the best of the local small screen talent.
