Jennifer Says, “Don’t Call Me J-Lo!”

Apparently, it’s no longer “cool” or “cricket” to call snooty actress-cum-singer Jennifer Lopez Miss J-Lo, because she finds that her self-created alter ego is readily associated with her rather diva-esque behaviour.
So no more! No more J-Lo, and no more diva behaviour.. at least, that’s the way she’s seeing it at the moment.. but that could all change the next time she wants an ice-pressed towel for her forehead scented with posies hand-picked from the Swiss Alps.
J-Lo – sorry, I’m just so used it to – Jennifer said that what started out to be a bit of fun with creating her new name soon “got out of control and really crazy,” and it’s time the insanity was stopped.
Lopez added: “That’s all gone with the ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on Egyptian sheets. That’s all firmly in my past.”
This change of heart and identity has all come about because Ms. Lopez would like to be a more serious actress and singer, however, she was quick to add that this wasn’t at all about the money involved in major film projects.
“If you focus on the money you’re not going to get anywhere. If money is your motivation you’re going to be such an empty shallow person.”
Yeah, and she’d know all about shallowness, that’s for sure. She might be “Jennifer” on the outside, but I’m sure she’s still “J-Lo” on the inside..
