Jennifer Love Hewitt Releases Plus-Size Fashion Line

The actress, who’s made gossip headlines lately with her “Bad camera angle” bikini shots, has decided to launch her own plus-size fashion line in order to silence those “size zero” critics for good.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has jumped into the fashion market with her line focused at plus-size woman. Here’s where things get funny: the line is labelled “Orca Fashions.” Just so we’re all on the same page here, an Orca is a whale (Free Willy, for example).

So, in reaching out to people who understand what it’s like to be called fat, Jen has released a fashion line that essentially names the buyers as “whales.” What a lovely business venture that is!

But that’s not all, folks! The “Orca” line will feature “basic black” clothing, and comes in sizes “super petite, triple petite and sumo petite. So now the buyers are sumos as well as whales!!

Jennifer says of the new line:

“You don’t have to be a size 2—or even a size 22—in order to be beautiful. If you want to improve your self image, no matter how many scales you’ve flattened, just wade into an Orca bikini and hold your chins up proudly.”

Now, I’m not entirely sure how truthful this all actually is. I find it hard to believe that she could even possibly think it was a good idea to venture into a fashion label with that name, especially since it is targeted at larger women, but I thought I’d put it out there just the same.
