If You Do The Crime, You Do The Time

Paris Hilton has just found out the hard way that if you break the law, you have to suffer the consequences… even if you’re a celebrity!!!
I must admit, I was a little shocked when I saw the headlines moments ago, and I stand corrected: if the judge is tough enough, a celebrity will do time, just like the rest of us!
Judge Michael T. Sauer handed down the sentence today, which will see the Hilton heiress serve 45 days in an L.A. county jail for violating her probation twice. Sauer added that she “will not be allowed work release, furloughs, use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of doing time.”
During the sentencing, both Paris and her parents were visibly distraught, their eyes welling with tears (of embarrassment and disbelief, perhaps… and maybe a little fear?). Hilton was overheard as saying “I’m sorry, I’m sorry” repeatedly, as if apologizing now would stop her from going to prison.
Parisite will do her time at the Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF), with her 45 days set to being on June 5 (remind me to throw a party). 
If Paris fails to turn up on that date, the judge will double her sentence.
And justice is served… kinda leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth, doesn’t it?
