Holly Madison’s Tears as Hef Refuses to Wed

Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner’s # 1 girlfriend, Holly Madison, has resigned herself to the fact that she may never wed her 82-year-old beau, and was visibly upset at last week’s ‘Playmate of the Year’ luncheon when Hef revealed his plans to stay unattached for the remainder of his life.

Since hooking up with Hef in 2001, Madison has been pushing for a white wedding, but has only recently come to realise that the Playboy founder has no intentions of ever walking down the aisle with her. A dejected Madison likened her relationship with Hef to “a car stalling,” when asked to comment by the press.

“We are no closer to getting married than we were years ago,” Holly said at last week’s luncheon. “It’s like a car stalled at the side of the road.”

Hefner was more candid about his marriage plans, and told the waiting media that, while he loved Holly “very much,” he would never marry the 28-year-old model.

“I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life,” Hef said. “But marriage isn’t part of my puzzle. It’s not a personal thing; I just haven’t had much luck with marriages.”

However, though he’s not planning on getting hitched, this by no means should suggest that he’s giving up women in general, or the magazine he famously created.

“I have no plans to retire,” Hefner added. “It’s the perfect combination of work and play that keeps you young. If I quit work it would be the beginning of the end for me.”

Meanwhile, Hef’s other leading ladies - the voluptuous Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson - may be getting ready to leave the aging billionaire once and for all.

“My goal is to be hosting my own show and be happily married with children, so I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately,” Bridget said recently.

Kendra is also desperate for motherhood, something she could never have with Hef, but wishes to build up her brand name a little more [with Girls Next Door] before considering her future away from Playboy.
