Yes, Hilary Duff is the latest celeb to go plastic – her new Barbie doll will be on sale next month.
The Red Carpet Glam Hilary Duff Doll is dressed in a polka-dot dress and pink satin sash (they call it red, but it looks more ‘pink’ to me). And what is that in Hilary’s hand? Is that an Oscar?? I think they might be getting a little ahead of themselves…
Mattel’s vice president of Barbie marketing, Jamie Wood, had nothing but praise for Ms. Duff. “Hilary is a great role model to girls. Not only is she a stylish entertainer, actor and
fashion designer, but she also shows girls that there are no limits to what they can do.” [Source]
As well as having her own doll, Hilary also designs clothes for Mattel’s infamous dolls, and has appeared in a number of Barbie commercials.
