Hayden is Superman

Hayden Christensen is Superman

He’s played Anakin Skywalker and the kid from Jumper (like a cardboard cut-out of a real actor), and now Christensen is rumoured to have been given the chance to stuff up infamous superhero, Superman, in the upcoming Justice League of America remake.

According to a fan who caught up with fellow superhero-to-be Adam Brody (from The O.C. fame) in a BC bar recently, Hayden is to become their Superman.

The fan, known only as ‘Candace,’ explained: “I asked Brody to sign a napkin, and asked what he/they were doing here. They’re in BC to check out locations for their new superhero movie Justice League is Mortal.”

Now, I’m not sure where that movie title came from… out of his ass, perhaps? I’ve only ever heard it called JLA, but who knows, if Brody’s got the scoop on Christensen, maybe he’s got the scoop on a new name-change, too?

Candace continued: “Brody pointed at Miller and said ‘George is our director’. He said he’s playing The Flash, Common is playing Green Arrow, Armie Hammer (sounded like Arm and Hammer) is Batman, someone from “mad max” is Martian Man-hunter (didn’t catch the name) and Hayden Christensen is Superman. Brody also nodded to the woman to his right and said ’she (he said her name but i didnt catch it) is in it too.’”

“Oh, and they had lots of drinks,” she added.

Who know whether this is true or not… right now I’d take it with a grain of salt until we hear some kind of confirmation from the director or one of the producers of the film. Right now, IMDB lists D.J. Cotrona as playing Superman, but it still says ‘rumoured only,’ so that could all change again soon.
