Little Harry Potter actor Dan Radcliffe may be all grown up now, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look strange to see him sucking on a fag in between takes.
The 18-year-old star reportedly picked up his pack-a-day habit after hanging around with older actors like Kevin Spacey and Stephen Fry, who are rather fond of lighting up whenever the craving strikes.
Apparently, the producers on the set of the new Harry Potter film, The Half-Blood Prince, have warned Radcliffe to keep his filthy habit under wraps, fearing it will tarnish the clean-cut image he’s carved for himself in the title role. It looks like Dan didn’t try hard enough to hide his smoking, as these recent snaps below prove.
While Dan might think his new grown-up habit is cool, sources say his young Harry Potter co-stars are less than impressed, and have been warning him to give up or suffer the health consequences.
“Friends and co-stars including Rupert Grint [who plays Harry's best friend Ron] have been warning him about the dangers of smoking,” said a source on the movie set. “But [Dan] doesn’t take any notice.”
Guess he’s too cool for school now!
