Eva Mendes Takes Break From Rehab

Ghost Rider actress Eva Mendes has checked out of the Cirque Lodge rehab centre “temporarily,” so that she can tend to some personal business, her rep has told Usmagazine.com.
“Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly,” her rep said.
Mendes has been in the famed facility for several weeks now, treating unnamed “personal issues.” However, a source has revealed that Eva is actually suffering from some well-hidden substance abuse problems, including cocaine addiction.
“She kept it all behind closed doors and wasn’t really a mess in public,” the source claims.
A pal revealed that Mendes, along with fellow actress Kirsten Dunst, fell to the pressures of Hollywood, getting mixed up in a hard partying crowd and destroying her self-esteem.
“She has a lot of low self-esteem and body issues,” said the friend. “For a lot of girls in Hollywood, cocaine makes them feel more confident and stay skinny.”
Another source added: “[Eva] pulled away from that crowd last year to focus on her career.
“She wants to be healthy.”
And wanting to be healthy is the first step to recovery, after all. Let’s hope she goes back into the facility after she’s concluded her business, like she’s said she will.
