Hitch actress Eva Mendes is in a Utah rehab facility to treat her substance abuse problems, her rep has revealed to TMZ.com today.
Mendes’ rep said the star is currently staying at the Cirque Lodge, near Sundance, the same facility Lindsay Lohan was famously treated in for her own substance abuse problems last year.
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside profession support,” Mendes’ rep said in a statement earlier today.
“Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”
Apparently, Eva has been receiving treatment at the Lodge for her problems for several weeks.
