David Beckham “Nervous” About Underwear Shoot

After all the times David Beckham has dropped his duds for the camera, you’d think an ad campaign for Emporio Armani underwear would be right up his alley. Apparently not.
The 32-year-old soccer star told The Tonight Show on Tuesday that he was “so nervous” about the Armani shoot, and was afraid of what his wife and mother would think of him stripping down to his tighty-whities on a billboard.
“I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I’ve done photo shoots before, but I’ve never done photo shoots in my underwear!” Beckham said.
“I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it. And my mom was going to see it.”
Beckham added that when the ads finally came out, his mother was the first one to spot them and call. He recalls, “[She said] ‘What are you doing?’ I tried explaining it to her, but she didn’t really get it.”
