Cruise & Holmes – Pop Stars??

As if Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes don’t have enough celebrity-saturation…the rumours are rife that their next role will be a pop stars, with their reception rendition of the tune You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling.
A source has revealed: “Tom’s got a great voice. And he loves that song ever since his ‘Top Gun’ character Maverick sang it to woo his love interest Kelly McGillis. Katie proved how talented she is musically when she performed in ‘The Singing Detective’ remake.” Oh, BARF!!! So he’s chosen a song from ONE OF HIS MOVIES (in which he used it to ‘woo’ his co-star) to be ‘his and Katie’s song…that’s soooo original!!!
Apparently, several muso producers just ‘happened’ to be in attendance at the wedding while Tom was singing to Katie (Barf, again!), and they were all supposedly ’so impressed’ with Tom’s vocal technique that they’ve offered the newlyweds “staggering sums to sign an exclusive record deal.”
The only problem for the musos?? Scientology, of course!
The source said: “Music chiefs know it would be a massive hit so they don’t want to lose all the money to a bizarre religious following. And record labels are reluctant to be associated with the strange faith. However, Tom is adamant. He said the song is a symbol of their love and Scientology is a basis for their companionship.” I think ‘money’ would be closer to the ‘basis for their companionship.’
