Court Date Set For Nicole Richie

The other half of The Simple Life duo, Nicole Richie, is apparently facing up to one year in prison, if she’s convicted for DUI after her arrest last December.
She’s apparently trying every trick in the book in order to stay out of prison, like getting hitched and pregnant, and pals say her fear of jail has only escalated after good friend Paris Hilton was locked up.
A trial date has been set for July 11th, and if Richie is convicted – and I can’t see how she can possibly get away with it, given that she admitted to being high while driving – she’ll serve at least the minimum sentence of 5 days in the slammer.
With the amount of stars going to prison lately, we almost need a category for it… hmm… I’ll think on that.
