Clay Aiken Involved in Airplane Disturbance
Former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken was involved in an airplane disturbance with a female passenger last Saturday while on a Continental Airlines flight.
Gary Johnson, an FBI Special Agent, confirmed there was a dispute between a “male passenger and a woman on the flight,” but would not say whether than man in question was Aiken. Johnson said that the fight was caused when the male passenger rested his foot on the woman’s armrest. Apparently, the female passenger gave Clay a “minor shove” during the argument.
“At that point the flight crew was able to resolve the situation,” Johnson said.
When the plane arrived at Tulsa Airport, the two passengers involved were held until FBI agents arrived to interview them. There were no injuries reported and no arrests made.
Aiken’s publicist and manager are yet to return any of the emails and phone calls regarding the alleged situation.
