Australian actress Sophie Monk has finally gotten over ex-Benji Madden, and is rumoured to be dating another singer — Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine.

The Date Movie star, who was engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Madden before he dumped her for Paris Hilton, has been spotted “enjoying a string of romantic encounters” with notorious ladies’ man Levine at hip L.A. hangout, the Chateau Marmont.

One onlooker said: “Adam rolled up on his motorcycle and it was obvious that he was there to see Sophie. They cuddled on the patio… they sat extremely close and were whispering in each other’s ears.”

At least she’s now dating someone a little bit closer to her on the “attractiveness” scale. I never did buy that whole “blonde-bombshell-loving-a-blimpy-tattooed-rocker” thing.

No, it’s not the talked about Playboy spread, but after her latest photoshoot in Men’s Style magazine, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Monk takes Hef up on his multi-million-dollar offer to pose nude.

It’s not like her career couldn’t use a pick-me-up, anyway. Things have certainly nose-dived for Ms. Monk since splitting with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden in January this year.

Former Popstars winner Sophie Monk has been offered $1 million to pose nude for infamous men’s magazine, Playboy, according to reports.

Jenni Weinmann, Monk’s publicist, neither confirmed nor denied the rumours, but said that “given the magazine’s reputation for classy portfolios,” any offer made would be “seriously” considered.

“I haven’t heard that she’s doing it and I haven’t heard that she isn’t,” Weinmann was quoted as saying.

This isn’t the first time the 28-year-old Australian has been offered a gig in Hugh Hefner’s iconic mag, though. She was approached to do a spread back when she was engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, who forced her to turn down the offer.

Since her split with Benji, the Date Movie star has stripped off for a steamy PETA ad campaign, so it’s no wonder Playboy has come back to her with a second offer. The chances of the blonde Aussie saying yes are fairly high at this point, I’d gather.

Aussie export Sophie Monk gave fans something to drool over when she stripped down to a red bikini during a visit to Malibu’s infamous beach recently.

The blonde starlet certainly seemed happy enough to pose for the snaps, though I’m a little concerned… that face of hers has a definite feline-like quality to it. A little too much plastic surgery, perhaps?

Sophie Monk has pulled out of appearing on Channel Nine Australia’s Carols by Candlelight.

The Christmas eve gig in Sydney closely follows her widely panned hosting of the AFI red carpet, where she was described as giving inane utterings.

Sophie is believed to have taken refuge with her family in Queensland since the insults started flying. Neither Sophie or her manager Yoon Kim has made comment on the withdrawal.

Pulling out was probably a wise move on her part. If she had suffered a second embarrassing event so close to the AFI one, it would have been far more damaging.

Aussie actress is the next celeb to go nude for PETA, appearing in a new ad campaign to try and convert us meat eaters into vegetarians.

Yeah, like the naked bodies of Alicia Silverstone and now former girlband singer, Sophie Monk, are gonna make me want to give up meat… now, if they roped Hayden Christensen or Ewan McGregor into dropping their dacks for the mighty cause, I may be inclined to re-think my stance.

Top Aussie designer, Gill Milligan, from label Milk and Honey, has squashed rumours which claim reality star Nicole Richie would be attending Australian Fashion Week during her trip down under.

During an interview about the show and her latest collection, Milligan admits that both Sophie Monk and Nicole Richie aren’t expected to show up for fashion week, however, there is still a small margin of hope that the celebs could somehow be “coaxed” into making an appearance.

Gill explains: “Umm, no [Nicole and Sophie won't be attending the show]. Well I’m not really sure at this stage. We’re obviously working on everything that we can, but we can’t confirm anything at this point in time … Obviously they’ve got busy schedules. We’d love to see them there, they’re certainly invited.”

Australian Fashion Week begins on April 30th, and Milligan’s collection will be shown on day two, the 1st of May.
