Christian Dior Drops Sharon Stone

After her stupid comments the other day, it looks like some of the Karma she mentioned is coming home to her.

Christian Dior has dropped her from their Chinese campaign. Dior had this to say.

“In light of the negative reaction that Sharon Stone’s inappropriate remarks have triggered, Dior China has decided to immediately cancel and stop any advertisements, marketing campaigns and commercial activities associated with Sharon Stone. We don’t agree with her hasty, unreflecting remarks and we deeply regret them. We just want our customers and fans to realize that her personal comments are not related to the company and of course we don’t support any type of commentary that will hurt the feelings of our customers.”

“Dior was one of the first international brands to enter China and has won the affection and respect of the consuming public. We absolutely do not support any remark that hurts the Chinese people’s feelings. We express our sorrow over the compatriots who lost their lives in the earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan, and we extend our sympathy and condolences to the people in the disaster area.”

Stone has gone into damage control and has started the apology circuit.

“In the course of the interview I made inappropriate remarks and for any harm created towards the Chinese people I am extremely sad and apologize.”

A lot of Chinese bloggers are taking up the campaign to have China boycott her movies, which, considering that she has four coming out is not going to make her very popular with the studios.

Sharon Stone Best Stick To Upskirts

File this under the ‘I am a cretin department‘.

Sharon Stone is once again giving blondes a bad name. referring to the earthquake that hit Sichuan province in China, that left over 60,000 dead and more then 360,000 injured, Sharon reckons that it is karma!

“I’m, you know, not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans, because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And so, I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don’t like … that. And then I’ve been, this, you know, concerned about, oh, how should we deal with the Olympics, because they’re not being nice to the Dali Lama who is a good friend of mine. And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”

Since China is not a democracy, I fail to see how the death of innocent adults and children has any effect on the government policies of the country, or how it is karma to the people directly affected.

Sharon needs to concentrate on what she does best. Hello Boys.

Sharon Stone Covers Up in Cannes

Actress Sharon Stone did something in Cannes that she doesn’t normally do… she actually wore clothing (and I’m not talking a measly bikini, either!).

Ms. Stone looked half-way decent in her diamond Dior sandals and flowing animal print dress as she attended the premiere of the movie Changeling at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, yesterday.

Her simple look was certainly a nice change from the Stone we’re all used to.

Sharon Stone Goes to the Prom

Here’s one way to feel young again…

Throw on a tiara, a flowing pink princess skirt, and sparkling accessories, and head off to a local prom!

Well, that’s what Sharon Stone did, attending the Class of Hope Prom dressed like a grown-up doll!

All jokes aside, this is actually the best I’ve seen her look in some time. Baby pink really must be her colour…

Sharon Stone: Proud to be Pennsylvanian

When Sharon Stone returned to her roots to give a lecture at an honours banquet at Edinboro University, she ignored her Hollywood lifestyle, instead focusing on how proud she is to be Pennsylvanian.

“It is very hard to be from here,” she said. “Pennsylvania’s a tough place with tough people. The weather’s tough, it’s tough to get work, it’s tough politically. But it has served me so well and I am so proud to be from here.”

She then went on to discuss life, and serving others.

“Life is a service job…You’ve got to figure out how you serve people the best and do it.”

Christian Slater’s “Stoney” Christmas

Unable to hold on to A-Listers like Lindsay Lohan, Christian Slater has had to lower his standards in order to get a date for Christmas dinner.

Desperate and dateless, 37-year-old Christian decided that a little holiday fling was just what the doctor ordered, and hooked up with Bobby co-star, Sharon Stone, for the Christmas break.

A source said: “They’re both really happy - but they don’t have long-term expectations. It’s a fun fling for the holidays and Sharon is a good influence. She rarely drinks and has three kids. It’s a good match for now.”
