Rachel Bilson and her lightsaber-toting beau, Hayden Christensen, are engaged, according to reports.
The couple, who met and hooked up while filming the 2008 sci-fi film, Jumper, got engaged over the Christmas holidays, a close friend of Bilson’s has revealed.
“They’re so excited,” the friend said. “They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.”
No wedding date has been set as yet, the pal added.
When contacted for confirmation on the surprise engagement, reps for both Bilson and Christensen refused to comment.
“I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives,” Bilson’s rep said.
Bilson, who got her big break in teen series The O.C., previously dated Adam Brody (another co-star!), and came close to marrying him before the pair split in 2006.

Not the greatest start to Rachel Bilson’s new fashion line, Edie Rose…
The former ‘O.C’ actress looked more like Charlie Chaplin than a hot fashionista when she attended her launch at Macy’s in Aventura Mall on Sunday.
If that outfit’s a taste of what we can expect from the Edie Rose Collection, I’d wager Bilson will get even less sales than Heidi Montag’s axed fashion line did!

She might not have a knack for choosing the world’s greatest movies (The Last Kis… Jumper…), but Rachel Bilson certainly knows how to turn heads – and keep them turned.
The former O.C. starlet showed up to the ‘Whitney Contemporaries’ Art Party and Auction’ wearing a bandage-inspired dress (if you could call it that), which left little to the imagination… in a classy, barely tarty way.
Seriously, though, how did she get into that thing? It looks like its been painted on!!

Former The O.C. actor, Tate Donovan (who played Jimmy Cooper), has slammed his young co-stars on the hit soap, claiming that they were all “incredibly difficult” to work with.
The veteran television star, who once worked on the Friends set, said that many of the “on-set dramas” spoken about in the media were caused by young actors Mischa Barton, Benjamin McKenzie, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody.
Donovan said: “They were really tough. Directors were leaving the set and saying, ‘I’m never going to work with (them again).’”
“I think they all wanted movie careers and did not want to be on a television show. All four of them were, like, ‘This show is ruining my career.’”
And since the hit teen show was axed from television, how many of them actually still have a career?? Hmm… guess being an actor on a tv show wasn’t so bad after all.
