Paula Abdul’s Urine Stolen by Obsessed Fan

Here’s a funny story that I thought was perfect for a hectic pre-Christmas Friday afternoon…

Paula Abdul, one of the three regular judges on hit U.S. talent show, American Idol, once had a urine sample stolen by an obsessed fan! The television personality and former singer recalls the incident with humour now, though I imagine it may have left the 45-year-old more than a little uncomfortable at the time.

Paula explains: “Well, this is gross, but I was once at the gynaecologist and my doctor said, ‘We asked you to do a urine sample, so where is it?’

“I told him that I’d left it out in reception, and when he came back he said, ‘This is really embarrassing but a man who works here is your biggest fan and he stole it.’

“Needless to say he got fired. In hindsight it’s a funny story.”

I wonder whether the sample turned up on eBay at some point, or whether it still sits in the creepy guy’s place today, framed on top of a Paula Abdul mantlepiece, in between a lock of her hair and a jar of her crap? Or perhaps the hospital just asked if they could kindly have it back.

Paula Abdul Cancels Interviews

Idol star Paula Abdul has cancelled all of her interviews today, after a rather embarrassing video where she appears drunk was released on YouTube.

In the video, Paula slurs and makes some rather odd movements, prompting speculation that she was drunk, or highly medicated…or both!

Her spokesperson, Jeff Ballard, has released a statement in regard to the issue:

“She was exhausted. This was at the end of three days of press (interviews and appearances), and she has had cameras following her around for a reality TV show too. She was sitting in a room with just a camera and a mic on, and the controllers dropped the sound twice, which is why she rolled her eyes. She never drinks. I have known Paula Abdul since she was 13, and I have never seen her drink ever in my life. And no, she is not on any kind of medication. She was a little tired.”

Never had a drink in her life?? Aren’t they forgetting last year’s Emmy’s and her druken outburst??

Concerns for Paula after Druken Emmy’s Outburst

During a post-Emmy’s live interview, American Idol judge and ex-pop tart Paula Abdul shocked fans with her drunken tirade on fellow reality show The Amazing Race.

Paula slurred, “Amazing Race is so…we hear it so many times that we all chant, ‘Amazing Race,’” after being asked how she felt about losing the Outstanding Reality/Competition Emmy to the show.

Pointing at vacant air with arms flying, Paula then complained about this season’s American Idol auditions, and the lack of talent.

It seems Paula may need some help after this new outburst, putting more credibility to the rumours of the former pop tart turning up to Idol appearances intoxicated.

If her current dress sense is any indication, she may need more help than we think.
