Miranda & Orlando Engaged?

She’s one of Australia’s hottest expats, and now it seems she’s taken one of Britian’s hottest exports off the market — officially.

If the rumours are to be believed, Victoria Secret model Miranda Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom are engaged, and planning to marry within a year.

“They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year,” a source close to the couple said. “They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife.”

Orlando Under Investigation For Hit & Run

Could Orlando Bloom be joining Britney Spears in the ranks of celebrity hit and run charges? There’s a strong possibility that he will, as he did walk away from a crash scene in the early hours of last weekend, and his accident is now under the investigation of the LAPD.

TMZ is reporting today that the LAPD investigation into the crash is “open and active,” and that ‘Landy could be facing some serious penalties if he’s found guilty in court (although, considering Britney’s 45 minutes in prison for a similar offense just recently, he’s really got nothing to worry about).

Apparently, Orlando is claiming that it’s the paparazzi’s fault, saying that they were the ones who cut him off and caused the accident… but the paparazzi weren’t the ones to flee the scene of the crash, were they? ÂÂ

A source who were there at the time of the crash said they heard the victim scream out to ‘Landy, “What, are you gonna leave me on the street?” Moments later, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor did just that, running away from the scene until the taunts of the paparazzi prompted him to come back. ÂÂ

Sounds like the paps were trying to stop him from breaking the law even further to me.

Of course, Bloom’s reps have refused to comment on the situation at this time… surprise, surprise.

Orlando’s Bloomin’ Car Crash!

As I said in the previous ‘Landy post, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was involved in a minor car accident early this morning in Los Angeles — but according to the LAPD, drugs and alcohol “were not a factor” in the accident!

Damn! And here I was, hoping for another Paris, Lindsay, or Britney… or at least another Kiefer!

Apparently, Bloom was driving Pirates’ director of photography, Dariusz Wolski’s Toyota Matrix, when he was “cut off by another driver, causing him to crash into a parked Porsche Cayenne.”

The crash happened at around 2:15 AM, shortly after Bloom had left Hollywood’s Green Door nightclub.

‘Landy is said to be fine, but a woman who was sitting in the backseat of the Matrix suffered minor injuries.

Orlando Bloom’s Nightclub Altercation

Today on “When Celebrities Go Wild!”…

Orlando Bloom got himself in a bit of an altercation with well-known fashion photographer, Damon Kidwell, while partying the night away at a club just yesterday evening. Apparently, Bloom instigated the “scuffle” by grabbing Veronica Taylor (Kidwell’s ex-girlfriend, and the girl he was dancing with) “inappropriately.”

After the pair decided to leave, an inraged (and possibly drunk/stoned) ‘Landy followed them out to their car, where he pushed himself - uninvited - into Kidwell’s vehicle.

According to TMZ.com, the only reason there was no punch up fight was “because of the cameras.” Needless to say, photog Kidwell was pretty pissed off about the whole incident!

But that’s not all, folks! Shortly after his little tiff with the photographer, Orlando was involved in a car crash, of which he apparently decided he was going to just walk away from without even leaving so much as a note!

I’ll get into that story in more detail in a sec… right now I need to go and grab myself a hang-over cure - bacon, eggs, sausage and cheese, topped with triple the grease - Mmm…

Jessica Simpson & Orlando Bloom… Dating?

Huh? I thought ‘Lando was hanging out with Jennifer Aniston’s crowd now? Apparently not, as he was seen “arriving in secret” with Jessica Simpson to this week’s Hennessy Artistry even at Paramount Studios.

“They slipped in a little after 8 p.m. and remained backstage for roughly 20 minutes before leaving together,” a witness revealed to OK! Magazine.

The source said that the only reason Jess and her buccaneer beau decided to stop by the event was so that they could say a quick hello to the littlest Simpson gal, Ashlee (who was there to support her own man, Pete Wentz, and his band Fall Out Boy).

“Jessica and Orlando are trying to keep their relationship on the down low,” the source added. “It’s all new to them and they’re still just feeling their ways but they are definitely an item.”

As if that wasn’t enough for us plain girls to be envious of, it seems Jennifer’s picked herself up a buff new beau, in the form of Pirates of the Caribbean heartthrob, Orlando Bloom! The actor was hidden away in the background of Jen’s Mexican vacation, fueling speculation that the pair are now an item.

Now, while he’s definitely not on the top of my hottie list, he’s miles ahead of Mr. Vain Pitt in the gentlemanly stakes. But wasn’t he dating an Aussie model not so long ago, and looking at buying a house with her??

Pirates 4 To Set Sail With Depp Only?

It looks like Disney have decided to sail Pirates of the Caribbean 4 WITHOUT lead actors Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, with cinemablend.com releasing an outline for the next installment, which lists Johnny Depp as the only actor to reprise his role.

So far, the film has a tentative production figure of US $30-40 million, and insiders say that bringing back the other less popular characters, like Elizabeth (Knightley) and Will (Bloom), will be too costly and not really worth it.

However, Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush’s Captain Barbossa are said to be definites for the fourth film, which will revolve around the fountain of youth hinted at the end of the third.

The film has an estimated release around 2009-2011.

A Bloomin’ Aussie Romance?

It’s time to start the relationship rumour mill going again! Another new couple has popped up in Hollywood…and this time it’s none other than Pirates star, Orlando Bloom.

The brunette hunk has been linked to a number of lovely ladies since his split from fellow actress Kate Bosworth…from Kirsten Dunst to Claire Daines, and more recently, Penelope Cruz. But Landy has ditched all of that high-price Hollywood glamour in favour of a more “down-to-earth” girl - Aussie supermodel, Miranda Kerr.

The pair were spotted house-hunting in Hollywood last week, and Kerr’s agent has increased speculation that they are a couple, by announcing that Orlando is “very interested.”

“He’s obviously very keen but they’re just friends at this stage,” the model’s agent revealed. “They met up to have coffee last week.”

They were also spotted together in New York recently, with sources describing Orlando’s new companion as “smoking-hot.”

Apparently, the pair met last year, backstage at a Victoria’s Secret parade.

Movie-making giant, Disney is outraged by a US porn comic that depicts Pirates of the
Caribbean star Keira Knightley having sex with her co-stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.

According to reports, the publication will show Keira being seduced by Johnny and Orlando.

Disney is now considering taking the comic to court.
