Fox News is reporting that Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo are tipped to be married in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas this weekend.

Minnillo’s entourage arrived at the dazzling digs Friday afternoon.

Reps for the comely couple could not be reached, so we will just have to wait and see if this turns out to be true.

Former boy-band singer Nick Lachey and his Jessica Simpson replacement Vanessa Minnillo are this morning frantically trying, with the help of their lawyer, to keep photos of their x-rated Mexican jacuzzi sex out of the tabloids and off the internet.

In this week’s Life & Style magazine, racy photos of the couple were published, clearly catching the pair while they engaged in a heavy makeout session during their stay at a private resort in Mexico. As if this wasn’t shocking enough, sources have revealed that these particular shots were the first of many, and definitely the more tasteful ones!!

A source explained to TMZ that in the one roll of film taken, Nick and Vanessa can be seen having hardcore sex in the hot tub, in more than one sex position!

“[The photos are] Paris sex tape-level scandalous!” the source said.

Their lawyer, Hollywood attorney Marty Singer, has sent a warning to all of the weekly mags in regards to these steamy shots, telling them that if they’re published in any way, the publication and the person/s responsible will be slapped with one heck of a lawsuit.

Singer called the photographer who took the shots “outrageous and malicious,” and added: “The photos that were taken of our clients by a Mexican photographer violated Mexican law and were a clear invasion of privacy, and we have threatened to take legal action against third parties who publish the photos.”

Of course, being the high-profile pap agency that they are, TMZ contacted the photographer’s place of business and offered to buy the pics. They were told that the pics were NOT for sale.

Nick to Marry Vanessa

According to a source, Nick Lachey and his new gal Vanessa Minnillo are planning to wed by the end of the year…kinda running out of time, aren’t they?!?

Being the gentlemen he is, Nick decided he’d better phone his ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, and do her the courtesy of letting her know his happy news, before she read about it in a tabloid.

Nick said in his 40-minute phone call to Jess: “I’m getting married again, Jess and I wanted you to hear it from me.” This was apparently when he dropped the bomb and told her it was most likely going to happen by the end of the year.

Of course, Jessica wasn’t very happy to hear this news, but kept her emotions in check for Nick’s sake. A pal said: “She knew Nick and Vanessa were serious, but this threw her for a loop…She did her best to contain her emotions.”

It serves Jessica right…I guess she’s learnt a lesson out of all this: don’t do what Pimp Daddy tells you to do!!!

What is it I am referring to; the ubiquitous celebrity sex tape.

Lately it seems that barely a week goes by without some new rumour of a sex tape being released.

So who is the latest to join the list?

Well if the information is correct, none other than the previous vestal virgin, Jessica Simpson.

Jessica Simpson has been left reeling by rumours a sex tape star, soon to be released onto the Internet.

Poor Jess is reputed to be captured on film engaged in some extreme horizontal gymnastics.

A source told Britain’s Daily Sport newspaper: “Jessica is horrified her name and sex tape are being mentioned in the same sentence. She’s always been a girl of high morals and principles.”

According to reports the tape does exist and has fallen into the hands of the individuals responsible for leaking the Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex video.

It has been claimed that they are threatening to leak the tape if Jessica does not pay an undisclosed sum of money to keep it out of the public domain. [Source]

Apparently there is no truth to the rumour that Jessicas father was manning the camera during the filming of said tape….

The Reason Behind Simpson-Lachey Divorce

Jessica Simpson has spoken about the reason behind her public divorce with ex-hubby Nick Lachey for the first time.

In a recent interview, Jessica explained that she knew their marriage was over, when they spent their third wedding anniversary apart.

Jessica spent their third (and last) wedding anniversary in Africa, on a charity trip for Operation Smile, while Nick decided to stay at home.

“I went [to Africa] on our three-year wedding anniversary. [Nick] stayed home. On that day, everything became so clear.”

“I was in hospitals with all these sick kids, and I was looking at the beauty of this whole different world. I just knew I needed to find something more in my life – on my own.”

When Jessica went home, she and Nick discussed their situation. “We realised that everything is not what we expected it to be, as hurtful as that may be,” Simpson said.

Jessica also admitted that the appearance of a ‘double rainbow’ in the sky helped her realise that she was doing the right thing. “I prayed, then looked up at the sky, and I’d never seen this before – it was a double rainbow. It was the most gorgeous thing ever. From that moment on, I’ve listened to Judy Garland’s ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ every single day.”

Simpson Gets Emotional in MTV Special

Jessica Simpson broke down in tears, as she relived the painful collapse of her marriage to Nick Lachey. The stunning 26-year-old star got intimate about her love life and opened up about her very “Public Affair” with fans.

“It was that first moment of understanding why you have to let go of somebody in your life,” she revealed in MTV’s new special, “Jessica Simpson: A Public Affair,” which airs Monday night.

Jess also revealed that to get through the difficult times, she turned to singing. In the special she also takes viewers through an emotional video diary of the dark days of her divorce.

“This was Christmas for me,” she said. “It was weird to go through Christmas and not feel like I was able to celebrate.”

Jessica said she turned to her sister Ashley for support during the tough times. “My sister was like, ‘Jess, spend the night with me,’” Simpson related, adding that they generally listened to one of Jessica’s new songs, “Let Him Fly,” a song about her love for Nick.

“So we listened to it together, and we boo-hooed,” she admitted. “We both cried so hard. So this song, actually, I was going through a really hard time, a very hard time.”

Despite trying their hardest to avoid one another at the Teen Choice Awards, divorced couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey still managed to get in each other’s way. Simpson, who was presenting the show alongside Dane Bowers, took pains to not run into her ex-husband but they accidentally bumped into each other backstage.

A witness to their encounter told Us Weekly: “They looked at each other, then Nick looked away and kept walking. “Jessica freaked out, though and Ken Paves (her hairdresser) started fanning her.”
