Naomi Watts Says Hollywood Actors Shouldn’t Take A Pay Cut

After stupidly appearing naked on her balcony last week, Naomi Watts has done something far less endearing.

Naomi Watts doesn’t agree with suggestions that Hollywood actors should take a pay cut during the current global financial crisis.

Showing just how much of a sheltered and privileged life she leads, Watts says:

“I think we may be more open to negotiation but I think the art world tends to thrive in times of recession.

We need the escapism. We need stories to be told for us to take ourselves away from the reality of our situations or circumstance.”

Yeah, and people need money to live and spare change to go to the cinema to watch the movies, that gives you the luxury of making such a stupid statement when you are pulling in more money per picture, than most people will ever make in their lifetime.

I don’t think anyone has a crux with the income; good luck to her, but try not to be so disjointed from the reality of the worst global financial crisis since the Great Depression that you make such a stupid statement.

Is that the fanometre I can see rapidly going backwards?

Naomi Watts has been captured naked on her balcony. Considering she only gave birth less than two months ago, she is looking pretty hot.

If this was anyone else, I’d say that this was done purely for publicity, but Naomi is not normally one to resort to such desperate tactics, so I would have to assume it is just very bad luck, or just plain stupid, I am not sure which.

Naomi Watts Pregnant

Australian actress Naomi Watts is pregnant again, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

The King Kong star has reportedly just entered her second trimester with baby number two; however, no official confirmation has come from either Naomi or her 40-year-old partner, Liev Schreiber.

When asked about Naomi’s second pregnancy, the actress’ rep said that she “doesn’t comment on her client’s personal life.”

Naomi and Liev became first-time parents in July last year, when they welcomed son Alexander into the world.

The King Kong star’s rep revealed exclusively to Usmagazine.com that she and her beau, Liev Schreiber, have just welcomed a bundle of joy into the world – a son, who was born on July 25 at 3:59 p.m.

The baby boy, who Naomi and Liev named Alexander Pete Schreiber, weighed 8lb, 4oz when born, and is 22 1/2 inches long.

Naomi’s rep said: “The parents are ecstatic, and both mom and baby are doing great.”[Source]

Pregnant Aussie actress Naomi Watts has just wed her actor beau, Liev Schreiber.

The newlyweds gave the news break to ET Online, while attending the Tony Awards on Sunday evening.

“We are married. You got it first. Break the story,” Liev said.

The couple are expecting their first child in August.

Yet another Aussie actress is about to tie the knot down under…

Naomi Watts, best friend of newly-wed Nicole Kidman, is set to marry boyfriend Liev Schreiber in an intimate Sydney ceremony.

The couple had previously decided upon marrying after the baby was born, but Watts has since changed her mind, and doesn’t want their first child to arrive out of wedlock.

“There’s not enough time to plan a big wedding,” a source revealed. “They’ll have just 25 guests for the nuptials in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, with a lavish wedding reception for all their stateside friends after the baby is born.”

At the present time, there has been no comment from Watts’ rep.

Naomi’s Public Hissy Fit

Naomi Watts and boyfriend Liev Schreiber had a public little fight after Liev’s performance at The 24 Hour Plays last week.

The King Kong starlet was seen ’storming out of the Whiskey Bar after-party,’ with her man following, screaming “Baby!”

A witness said: “She slammed her drink down; he followed suit, but took a bracing sip before following. Five minutes passed, and Liev returned alone. He picked up his drink, took another sip, looked around with a ‘What can you do?’ expression, and rejoined his party.”

What’s strange about all of this was that just hours before, Naomi couldn’t stop gushing about how great her man was.

Naomi said: “I am so proud of him tonight, as always…It makes me think that I should be up there doing what [those actors] are doing.”

“He did have the best lines. But even so, he is so funny, isn’t he? I’m so proud.” [Source]
