Miley Insists, “Spears & Lohan Are Normal”

In the wake of her Vanity Fair photoshoot scandal, Disney starlet Miley Cyrus has spoken out against the treatment of troubled celebs Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, insisting they have “good hearts,” and that it’s quite “normal” for young stars to run wild.

The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana said: “Everyone has their time. And I think most 21 to 25-year-olds go through this kind of thing. If you went to most high schools, I could point out Britneys [Spears] and Lindsays.

“I guess that’s why I’m so adamant about the Britneys and Lindsays and whatever, because I know those people and I know they have good hearts and they’re just struggling.”

That may be so, but the age-old debate is this: If the Britneys and Lindsays of the entertainment world weren’t playing up, posing nude for cameras and getting stoned at a young age, would their average, high school-age counterparts be less inclined to booze up and act up?

I guess Miley hasn’t thought of that.

Miley to Sing with Travolta?

This is straight from the horse’s mouth, folks!

Kelly Preston, Travolta’s long-time wife, revealed yesterday at the Step Up Women’s Network luncheon that her hubby could be teaming up with Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus… on a record!

“Johnny may sing with Miley,” Preston said.

Preston added that while she and Travolta haven’t seen Cyrus’ controversial Vanity Fair spread, she believes the young Disney star is “a sweetheart” and “[has] a great head on her shoulders.”

Travolta and Cyrus are currently working together, voicing characters on the upcoming animated film, Bolt.

Hugh Wants Miley In Playboy

Hugh Hefner obviously sees potential in Miley Cyrus, inviting her to pose for Playboy.

After seeing her Vanity Fair photo shoot, Hugh Says he would love to have 15 year old Miley in Playboy; once she is of legal age of course. I mean, he wouldn’t want to appear like a dirty old man or anything.

The only way I could see this happening, is if she really wants to ditch her clean image and be taken as a serious actress; isn’t that what they all say when they get their gear off?

Britney Offers Miley Advice

Train-wrecked pop tart Britney Spears has offered to give young Disney star Miley Cyrus advice on how to be a child celebrity in Hollywood, after hearing of the photo scandal Cyrus is currently embroiled in.

Last week, Cyrus said she was “embarrassed” by the Vanity Fair photo shoot, which shows the Hannah Montana star topless and covered in a strategically-placed bed sheet. Britney, who is no stranger to nude scandals (count her numerous pantiless outings over the last year), has reached out to the young singer, offering her support in getting through the pressures of a media onslaught.

Disney Cancels Miley’s Red Carpet Appearance

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus won’t be attending the scheduled red carpet event for the ‘Disney Channel Games’ this Friday, a Disney representative confirmed today.

The 15-year-old daughter of singer Billy Ray Cyrus “is no longer expected” to make an appearance at the public event, Disney said. It was to be her first public event since topless photos of the young star were published in Vanity Fair magazine last week.

Miley Cyrus Set to Dump Hannah Montana?

A reported Disney insider has been saying that Miley Cyrus has outgrown her Hannah Montana character and wants to move onto more mature roles.

Miley, at 15 years of age is one of the largest acts presently in entertainment. With her clean image, it would seem unusual for her to drop the role that has propelled her to International stardom and seek something more mature.

I think when she sits down with her parents and they way up all the issues, she will continue in the role of a couple of more seasons. Lets face it, it would be pretty hard for her to transition to any role or character quite as profitable as the hannah Montana franchise.

My advice, stick at it, make your money, then move on.

Boring old Britney has lost her glam with the paps.

The number of paps stalking Britney has steadily dropped from the dizzying numbers that shadowed her every move on weeks ago.

A photo agency head said that a lot of Britney’s regular paps have now been assigned to Miley, with less then 6 paps covering Britney on the weekend.

Miley on the other hand had 30 happy snappers covering her every move, getting stunning shots like the one above.
