Mel B on Posh Spice: “We Don’t Get Along”

Former Spice Girls member Melanie “Mel B” Brown has revealed that although they live in the same zipcode now, she and fellow bandmate Victoria Beckham don’t get along at all.

“We’re not in touch much,” Brown admitted recently.

“Victoria and I are very different,” she added. “People bracket us together because we live in the same city and we’re both interested in fashion. Victoria’s fashion line has been very successful and hopefully mine will be too. But that’s where the similarities begin and end.”

The girls reconciled for the Spice Girls reunion tour last year, which was cut short due to tensions within the group.

Group Tension Behind ‘Spice Girls’ Tour Cancellation?

Yesterday, we first reported that the Spice Girls’ shock world tour cancellation was due to “family and personal commitments” and the need to wrap things up by the end of February, however, the Daily Mail is reporting this morning that the real reason behind pulling out is the massive amounts of tension between the band members.

Sources close to the group have come forward today and revealed that both Mel B and Mel C have no desire to continue with the world tour, and have forced the management team to scale back all of the remaining concerts, which include performances in Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa.

The Spice Girls Cancel World Tour

The Spice Girls have canceled a large portion of their world tour, including their planned concerts in Australia, citing “family and personal commitments” as the reason for pulling out.

Concerts scheduled in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires have now been canceled, and while the managers of the show were apologetic, sources on the inside have claimed that a lack of interest and low ticket sales in those areas is the real reason behind the cancellation.

Posh Gets Snubbed on New Spice Girls Song

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham Snubbed in New Song

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has been snubbed by the other Spice members, given just four short lines to sing on the band’s comeback song, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).

The Daily Star is reporting today that Posh’s four-line solo stint in the track lasts for little over fifteen seconds, with fellow Spicey Melanie Brown jumping in and hi-jacking her last line, turing it into a kind of impromptu duet.

Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell penned the new song, and both girls feature prominently, singing an entire verse each at the beginning. The two Melanies also sing a large portion on their own, leaving Posh to pick up the slack in the chorus and three measley solo lines.

A spokesperson for the band was quick to dispel any rumours of disharmony or jealousy between the girls, and stated: “The verses have all been shared out equally among the five members and they all sing together on the chorus.”

Maybe snubbing Posh in the song had nothing to do with jealousy over her larger celebrity profile and more to do with the fact that she’s always been the least-talented singer of the five? Perhaps the girls were just stating the obvious and heading back into the pop world with the strongest possible showing… and that includes having Posh’s solo hi-jacked by Scary Spice.

Melanie Brown’s Secret Two-Year Lesbian Love Affair

Melanie Brown

With the belief that Spice Girl Melanie Brown is in a “fragile” state of mind, her two former lesbian lovers have decided to come clean about their secret two-year tryst with the singer, dishing out all the juicy details.

In August 2005, Mel B and her close friend Christa Parker engaged in a steamy lesbian relationship, which turned into many threesome sessions after Parker introduced Brown to her sex-toy saleswoman pal, Elizabeth Rodriguez. The two friends had apparently met at the gates of their children’s school in America.

At the time of the affair, Brown was apparently dating a male casting director, however, Parker insists that the singer had had quite a lot of experience in girl-on-girl antics before they met.

Parker said: “I had only had sex with a woman once before… but Mel was obviously very experienced with women. She is a great kisser.”

“Mel and I were very good friends,” she added. “We saw each other almost every day and would have sex at least a couple of times a week.” Christa said that when she had introduced Rodriguez, the three had then engaged in regular threesome romps.

Things were put to and end in May 2006, when Melanie began her tumultuous relationship with actor Eddie Murphy, who later ended up fathering her new baby girl.

Shortly after giving birth, Brown married film producer Stephen Belafonte, shocking the media and her old friend, Parker. Christa claims that since Melanie’s marriage to Stephen, she has very limited contact with her former lover, and is very concerned for her, particularly because of her supposed “weakened emotional state.”

“Mel is so vulnerable,” Christa said. “I’m very worried about her. I hope she’s happy. I just don’t want to see her hurt.”

Eddie Murphy
Scary Spice Mel B was right – Eddie Murphy IS the father of her 2-month old baby girl!

A rep for Ms. Brown confirmed today that the DNA test undertaken by Murphy on June 11 says without a doubt that the Nutty Professor star is little Angel Iris’ father.

“He’s the baby’s father, it’s official,” says a source close to Brown. “The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his.”

The source added: “There was no doubt in people’s minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn’t a surprise to her. She knew all along.”

Murphy’s rep is yet to comment on the results.
