Madonna Reaches Divorce Settlement

The epic battle between exes Madonna and Guy Ritchie is over before it even really began!

According to the BBC, Madge and Ritchie have reached a settlement, and “will be granted a preliminary divorce decree” at the High Court in London on Friday, which means that in six weeks and a day, their divorce will be made final and official.

The split between one of Hollywood’s super couples has been fairly benign, all things considered. Not too many nasty comments in the media, and, according to reports, a nice, amicable settlement where both parties involved get to keep their respective dosh.

Despite the fact that Ritchie was entitled - by law - to a portion of Madonna’s fortune, he will walk away from the marriage with only a meager amount of Madge’s estimated $500 million wealth.

“[Madonna] walked away without any of his money, much to her credit,” a friend said. “[Ritchie] has done the same.”

Likewise, the pair will share custody of their two children - Rocco, 8, and the adopted David, 3 - while Madonna’s daughter Lourdes (who’s not Ritchie’s biological child) will remain in America with her mother.

Another friend revealed: “[Ritchie] could have hugely boosted his bank balance and set himself up for life, but he already feels he has enough money.

“He also didn’t want the whole thing dragging on in the public gaze for months and months and, in any case, his priority was the children’s future.”

However, a source close to the couple insists this picture-perfect view of the settlement couldn’t be further from the truth, with Ritchie set to “clean up” once everything becomes final.

“[Guy’s] going to get a huge windfall, contrary to what’s being reported,” the source said. “He’s getting a lot of money from the settlement. He’s not the gentleman he’s portraying himself as.”

And Madonna’s been flouncing around with A-Rod since before the divorce was announced in October, so I guess that means neither one of them is a gentleman…

While Madge Is Away A-Rod Plays

Madonna doesn’t trust her new male play buddy too much, getting her friends to keep him on a tight leash while she is away.

The only problem is, it doesn’t seem to be working too well, with Alex doing some serious flirting with Kate Hudson at Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami on Friday night.

As the night wore on, Vadge’s security of gal pals managed to keep the Miami locals from getting too close to Rodriguez, but they could do little about Kate Hudson, who had her arms wrapped around his waist and continually pulled him back toward her whenever he leaned over to talk with someone else.

So is Vadge losing out to younger chicks?

Madonna Was A Japanese Warrioress In Previous Life

On a Japanese TV show, Madonna revealed how she thinks she was a Japanese warrioress in a previous life.

She said: “I must have been Japanese in a previous life. I’m pretty sure I was a warrioress.”

“I can’t explain it, I just know. I’m good at fighting - fighting with a big sword.”

Well that must explain why she now thinks she can be a director like her ex husband.

Personally, I don’t believe in reincarnation, but if I did, I am pretty sure that whoever was in charge of it wouldn’t let you live more than once!

Madonna: More “Gristle” Than Lady

There’s certainly no love lost between Guy Ritchie and Madonna!

The soon-to-be-exes are going at it hard in the media just days after making the official announcement that they’d split, with a close friend of Ritchie’s revealing that he found the singer’s muscular physique so revolting, he hadn’t made love to her in 18 months!

According to the pal, Ritchie had once likened the 4 Minutes singer to a “piece of gristle,” and blamed Madonna’s obsession with exercise for destroying their marriage.

“[Making love to Madonna was like] cuddling up to a piece of gristle,” Ritchie is alleged to have told his friends.

Another friend added: “All of the soft feminine tones have been replaced by the build of an athlete.”

Ritchie confronted Madonna about the exercise issue on a number of occassions, but sources say the singer “wouldn’t budge,” and insisted on her “four-hour [daily] workout, even though her routine was putting a strain on her marriage.

If I was Guy, I’d be feeling relieved right about now. He’s finally free of all the sanity! And now “gristly Madge” is someone else’s problem - namely A-Rod’s.

Madonna’s Affair with Rodriguez Confirmed

Shortly after news of Madonna’s divorce from husband Guy Ritchie was made public, a source close to the 4 Minutes singer has revealed that her alleged romance with New York Yankees member Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez was real.

“[They] are definitely romantic,” the source told Usmagazine.com.

However, the source was quick to explain that Ritchie wasn’t worried about Madge’s affair, because the couple have been “secretly separated” for “over a year”.

“Guy is not invovled in this equation,” the source said. “With or without A-Rod, Madonna and Guy haven’t been ‘together’ for over a year - they have been privately separated. Madonna, however, wanted to finish her world tour before divorcing.”

Another source on the New York Yankees side added that A-Rod and Madonna had been together for some time, but had only recently kicked things up a notch.

“A-Rod and Madonna are more involved than ever,” said the source. “Alex has really missed spending tmie with Madonna. However, he understands the position Madonna’s in.”

The couple fueled speculation that they were an item a few months ago, when they were spotted together a number of times shortly after Rodriguez split with his own wife. At the time, both Madonna and A-Rod denied their affair, something that was no doubt paramount to Madge getting the most out of her divorce bombshell.

It’s Official: Madonna & Guy Ritchie Split

After almost eight years of marriage, Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have officially split.

Madonna’s rep Liz Rosenberg confirmed the split on Wednesday, releasing a joint statement to the press on behalf of both Madge and Guy.

The statement read: “Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time.”

“The main concern for Madonna and Guy are their children - the security of their children in all sense of the word and the wellbeing of their children,” Rosenberg added. “That’s the priority for both of them moving forward. It’s a sad situation.”

A settlement has not yet been reached.

Madonna’s Tour Crew About to Walk

Things are less than happy in the Madonna camp. Sources claim that some of the 250-strong employees working on the singer’s latest concert tour, ‘Sticky & Sweet’, are getting ready to walk after being treated like “second-class citizens.”

According to reports, Ms. Madge infuriated her crew when she stayed at an £11,000-a-night luxury Chateau in France for the second leg of her tour, while members of her entourage were forced to set up tent at a £50-per-night hovel.

Not only did they stay in some ghastley hotel, but the crew were all put on budget easyJet flights to Nice, while Madge and her family flew first class on a private jet.

“Everyone is absolutely furious with her and some of them want to walk out of the tour,” a source revealed. “They feel they are being treated like second-class citizens, despite all their hard work over the last few months.”

The source added: “Trouble has been brewing for a few months in the Madonna camp, especially since all the claims that her marriage was in crisis. Now to make matters worse, they are being forced to stay in horrible places and fly on cheap low-cost flights, while she has the lap of luxury.”

Madonna’s tour - assuming she has a crew to finish it - will run until December this year.

Just like with dogs, pop star Madonna doesn’t age like your Average Joe.

She might be on the eve of her 50th birthday, but according to Madge and a handful of Kabbalah high priests, she’s only really turning 36. Neat, huh?

How exactly did these “high priests” come to that conclusion, you ask? Well, it’s simple, really: they calculated her spiritual age by channelling the energy of Madge’s aura. And she’s 36.

Sources say the Material Girl is dead serious about this Kabbalah age thing, too, and has forbidden anyone from even so much as whispering the numbers 5-0 at her celebrations tomorrow.

Guests, too, are “under strict instructions” not to come bearing any gifts, cards or cakes with the taboo number 50 on them, or they will suffer the wrath of the middle-aged singer.

Madonna “Loving” Attention From Rodriguez Scandal

While Madonna’s still insisting she’s not having an affair with All-Star Alex Rodriguez, that doesn’t mean she’s not enjoying all of the media attention the scandal has produced.

Close friends of the 4 Minutes singer have revealed that Madge is “loving” the attention she’s been getting from the Rodriguez rumours, and was even planning on adding fuel to the fire by turning up to one of his games at Yankee Stadium and cheering him on.

“She, [manager] Guy Oseary and some friends have tickets [to the game] and are planning on going,” a pal said. “[Madonna] doesn’t care about the press it will get - she loves it. It just gets her more publicity for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour.”

Of course, Madonna is no stranger to milking the press’ interest in her life in order to get the most out of a situation. Rumour has it the singer is even playing up her marriage troubles with director husband, Guy Ritchie, in order to rake in the cash.
