Kylie Minogue Considering Turning Gay

Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue has admitted she’s contemplated turning gay after a string of unsuccessful heterosexual relationships.

Ms. Minogue told The Sun that “the lack of men in [my] life makes [me] consider turning gay.”

But just what kind of woman would Kylie be interested in, if she decided to turn to the dark side? The late, bisexual, 30s actress Tallulah Bankhead!

“I’d go gay for her,” Minogue said. “She was a fascinating and exotic woman. There was so much to admire about her.”

“She lived life to the full, maybe a little too fully,” the 2 Hearts singer added. “I want to release the inner Tallulah in me. God knows I can’t get a man — so maybe I should cross over.”

Kylie Minogue Turns 40

Aussie Pop Princess, Kylie Minogue celebrates her 40th birthday today.

Originally rising to startdom as Charlene in Neighbours, she commenced her music career with the song Locomotion, produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, the English pop machine who turned out such luminaries as Rick Astley, who has recently gained Internet notoriety via the Rickroll.

Kylie has gone on to release 9 best-selling albums and is popular in the UK and Australia, but has not really won American audiences over.

She had a much publicized battle with breast cancer in 2005 - 2006, during which she was dumped by her sleazy French boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

Highlights since recovering include being named Woman of The Year by British fashion magazine GQ and Glamour and being awarded an OBE.

Happy birthday Kylie and welcome to middle age. Only joking.

Kylie Will Never Have Children

Aussie Pop Princess, Kylie Minogue has said she may never marry and doubts that she will ever have children. She said:

“I think that perhaps this is not the right path for me. I never had the feeling of a conventional marriage with a terraced house in the suburbs.”

She also had a dig at celebrity mothers that continue performing while bringing up children, saying that it could damage the kids.

Talking about ageing, Kylie insists that she will be growing old gracefully, which will be a first for her.

Kylie hopes to continue her career into her 50s and 60s but said: “I won’t be wearing hotpants then.”

Personally, I never thought she would ever have kids. The fact that she was so driven to do everything possible to get back into the limelight after her cancer says a lot about her and her craving for fame. A kid would just get in the way.

Kylie Set To Marry Olivier

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue is set to announce her marriage to French loser actor Olivier Martinez at a concert on May 12.

Minogue, who turns 40 in May, has apparently ordered more VIP tickets then normal for her Prague show, fueling speculation that the announcement will be made at the concert.

Kylie is making her comeback after recovering from breast cancer, kicking off her Kylie X2008 tour in Paris on May 6 and finishing in London on July 27.

Kylie’s Words of Wisdom for Britney

On the eve of Britney Spears’ second night in a psychiatric hospital, Australian pop star veteran, Kylie Minogue, has reached out to her troubled rival, offering a few words of wisdom in dealing with the pressures of fame.

“I wish someone would write a manual about fame because it’s not easy,” the Aussie celebrity told gay magazine DNA.

Kylie Minogue Wants To “Go Feral”

Time for a little “home-grown” gossip…

Aussie singing sensation, Kylie Minogue, has recently expressed the need to “go feral,” saying that she’d love to just pack her bags and go… when she’s finished with her lucrative pop career, that is.

“I would love to have a backpack and just go,” she said during an interview with Q magazine.

“I’m thinking about it. But I’m a little snowed under right now. I need to go feral!”

While most people would think behaviour of that kind was completely uncharacteristic for the Slow songstress, Kylie insists those closest to her would know that’s what she’s really like.

“What you don’t realise is I actually am like that in certain situations,” she explained.

“We have a holiday farmhouse in Australia, the family, and it’s all about gumboots and flies and barbecues and there’s one store. I love it.”

Sounds like the perfect getaway to me!
