Kid Rock Arrested For Battery

Pam Anderson’s former husband, Kid Rock, has been arrested in Atlanta following an overnight brawl at a local restaurant.

Atlanta police said that the singer was taken into custody early Sunday morning, after he and members of his entourage had been involved in a scuffle with a fellow customer at a Waffle House in DeKalb County.

Kid Rock and his crew arrived at the restaurant at around 5:15 AM, when a male customer “recognized a woman in Kid’s entourage” and began to verbally abuse her. The argument then turned into a full of fist fight, and the police were called in order to break things up.

The rocker’s tour bus was pulled over by the cops a short time later, and Kid and five members of his crew were arrested on a misdemeanor charge of “simple battery.” They were held until 5 PM, when Kid was released on bail. No news as yet as to whether or not he’ll receive any additional prison time or fines.

Why Kid Rock Hit Tommy Lee

Kid Rock has kinda revealed why he smacked Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

“It’s been going on for five years,” Rock said of the bad blood between him and Tommy Gun.

“I did what any man would do, any man across the country, across the world would do, it kills me just to be associated with, to have my name in a sentence with him, it honestly destroys me.”

“Last contact I had with him was when me and Pam were going through our divorce. He picked up her Blackberry and started e-mailing me a lot of horrendous things. It was extremely disrespectful. I calmly told him, … Listen, I will see you again … and that was the end of it, because I don’t talk, you know.”

On the topic of the fight, Kid said.

“This was unavoidable. I had to do what I had to do because this was a long time coming. You know, I came back from the bathroom and he was sitting right there. It was even more disrespectful after everything he’s said, I was like that’s enough, that’s it.”

On his Web site, TommyLee.tv, Tommy Gun says:

“Here I am minding my own biz [when] I get a tap on the shoulder from Kid Pebble … i stand up and embrace him with a semi hug and say ‘Hey dude … What up?? He punches me in the face … well if ya wanna call it that!? … more like a bitch slap! … Wuss!! i go to knock this jealous no career havin country bumpkin the f— OUT … and before I can have a meeting with my fist and his ugly ass mug … security guards … NOT MINE at the Palms grab me and haul my ass outta the award show threatening me that if I move they’ll break my arm … yeah whatever!!”

Kid says the problem has nothing to do with Anderson.

“It has the farthest thing to do from that. If he’s smart he’ll be like you know down deep you had it coming. Just leave it alone now. Go your own way.”

Kid does not sound real keen on Plastic Pammy either.

“The best thing I ever did was I filed for that divorce. You have to go through these things to realize that, you know. I was in love with her. I went through it, I did what I had to do, but thank God I got out of it. It had absolutely zero to do with her…. I knew it was a bad career move to get involved with her because your life becomes a circus – because that’s what she wants is media attention.”

• Laguna Beach starlet Kristin Cavallari and hottie James Franco will be partying at ultra-chic Prive and the ajoining Opium Garden.
• Jared Leto will be seen at the Raleigh Hotel, which is owned by Uma’s latest man.
• If you head to Skybar, you could run into many a celeb, including Luke Wilson, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler and Tyson Beckford, who are all celebrating there.

Pam Anderson ‘Easy’ in St Tropez

Pamela Anderson has admitted that she would have married any old guy during her summer vacation in St Tropez, because she was in a good mood! She said she got ‘carried away in the moment’ when she married Peanut (Kid Rock), but that she know regretted her hasty decision, hence the divorce.

“I think I just got swept up and I wanted to have a family for my kids. But you remember really quickly when you get back together why you’re not together.”

“It was just the whole idea of having a family and not having to introduce someone new to my kids. We both wanted a family, we bother have kids. But when we were together, it just wasn’t a good thing.”

If you’re a Pammy fan, perhaps next time you should go where she’s going…you never know when she might be in a ‘good marrying mood’ again…ÂÂ

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock both filed for divorce on Monday, stating “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split.
