Johnny Knoxville Files for Divorce

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville has filed for divorce in a Los Angeles County Superior Court today, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the split.

As there was no prenup, Knoxville’s wife of almost twelve years, Melanie, will be entitled to part of his earnings, and will receive regular spousal support for their 11-year-old daughter, Madison.

The only request Johnny has made so far is that of joint custoday of young Madison.

Now, what’s strange in this divorce proceeding is not the fact that Johnny’s real name is P.J. Clapp (and for all of you die-hard Knoxville fans out there who already knew this, feel free to laugh at me, because I had no idea), but the fact that the divorce papers were signed by Knoxville’s high-profile lawyer, Laura Wasser, in January this year! Very weird that it took this long to go public..

… *laughs hysterically* P.J. Clapp!! Sounds like a hillbilly name from The Simpsons or something!

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville and his wife, Melanie, have decided to call it quits.

Johnny’s rep has confirmed to Us magazine that the pair have gone their separate ways. “They have been separated for a while. They just grew apart,” his rep said.

Rumours have surfaced that the cause of the split was his alleged affair with Dukes of Hazzard co-star, Jessica Simpson.

A source said of Melanie’s situation: “How do you live knowing that your husband leads a separate life… and is sleeping with other women all the time? She deserves every penny if she is going to divorce him.”

The pair have one daughter, Madison, who is 10.

At least now I guess Johnny can fool around with other women and not have to worry about his wife finding out…but I guess he’d already been doing that, anyway…

Johnny Knoxville arrived in Sydney yesterday for the premiere of his new movie, Jackass 2, and after raiding the hotel mini-bar for several alcoholic beverages, decided to sit down for an interview with Confidential on…ah…you’ll see…

The jackass started by pointing at the Sydney Opera House sails and asking: “Did they use those in a movie like as hats or something? It seems like a Planet of the Apes thing.” Riiiight…Okay, then…

He did actually manage to discuss his new movie at some point, and had this to say about the difference between the two Jackass’: “I look back at the first one and I was like, I was fu..ing lazy.”

“We were in Florida 14 days and I showed up for like three days. I was drunk, and me and (director Jeff) Tremaine got in a yelling fight.”

“I wasn’t professional, I was loaded every day.”

And he’s not now??

Johnny Knoxville Attacked By Man Who Isn’t In Jackass

Despite having had survived numerous repeated projectile objects pelted at various sensitive spots on his body, Johnny Knoxville is not interested in a physical attack on his person. According to Starpulse blog:Johnny Knoxville was left shaken when he was attacked by a man at a Hollywood bar last week. Knoxville was drinking at dive bar Tinys KO, along with Jackass co-stars Steve-O and Chris Pontius, when a man shoved him against a wall. According to an eyewitness Steve-O and Pontius immediately dragged the attacker outside. The witness tells OK! magazine, “Johnny tried to mediate. He looked a bit shaken up when he came back into the bar, but the other two were disappointed that they didn’t fight.” [Source]
