John Travolta Releases Statement On Jett’s Death

John Travolta has released a short statement on the death of his son Jett Travolta.

“We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered.”

“We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us a hope for a brighter future. With love, John, Kelly, and Ella.

Jett Travolta Death Controversy

As is the norm in high profile deaths, controversy surrounds the death of Jett Travolta.

The Bahama Police and the Travolta camp differ in their time line for Jett’s death.

Travolta’s camp are adamant that Jett was not left unattended for more than 10 hours, as claimed by police

The Travolta’s and their two nannies spent January 1st boating, before returning to their townhouse at around 6 PM. Jett was tired and went to his room to watch some television.

Nanny, Jeff Kathrein, who is rumored to be Travolta’s gay lover,  watched TV in the next room, while the second nanny, Eli, was out, returning to the townhouse at 11:30 PM, when both nannies went to bed. When Jeff woke the next morning, he went to the bathroom and found Jett laying on the floor

According to police, Jett was last seen at around 11:30 the night of January 1, when he went to the bathroom.

Travolta’s lawyer, Michael McDermott, says Eli or Jef may have gone into the bathroom during the middle of the night, so the time frame would have been much shorter.

McDermott also says that when John and Jeff administered CPR, there may have been signs of life.

The police however are sticking to their timeline and disagree with the versions coming from the Travolta camp.

Personally, it is understandable that a child of his age could go to the bathroom late at night, fall and hit his head and remain undiscovered until the morning. Trying to put spin on the time line would appear to be a useless exercise. Of greater concern are the reports surrounding Jett’s ‘condition’.

Jett had reportedly suffered from grand mal seizures in the past and had taken anti-seizure medicine which the Travolta’s say did not work, so stopped administering it to him.

Further controversy comes from this report, where are friend of John’s brother, Joey Travolta tells of the arguments in the family surrounding Jett’s illness.

The friend says that Joey and John regularly argued over the cause of Jett’s problems, with Joey believing the cause was Autism, which John refused to acknowledge due to it being against his Scientology beliefs.

Joey, learned about the disorder while making his documentary, ‘Normal People Scare Me’, when he interviewed 65 autistic youngsters.

The friend went on to say that:

“Joey could see Jett in every one of those 65 kids he spoke to. It was so obvious Jett was autistic just from spending five minutes with him, but the cruel fact of their religion meant his parents simply did not accept it.”

“Parents who had children in the same classes as Jett would gather round after school and say, ‘Are they in denial or what?’”

Scientologists believe mental illness is psychosomatic and reject the use of drugs to treat and mental illness.

Miley to Sing with Travolta?

This is straight from the horse’s mouth, folks!

Kelly Preston, Travolta’s long-time wife, revealed yesterday at the Step Up Women’s Network luncheon that her hubby could be teaming up with Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus… on a record!

“Johnny may sing with Miley,” Preston said.

Preston added that while she and Travolta haven’t seen Cyrus’ controversial Vanity Fair spread, she believes the young Disney star is “a sweetheart” and “[has] a great head on her shoulders.”

Travolta and Cyrus are currently working together, voicing characters on the upcoming animated film, Bolt.

Cruise And Travolta Put Their Homo Days Behind Them

The anti-Scientology video made by Mark Bunker and featuring actor ex-Scientologist Jason Beghe has been removed from YouTube. YouTube will not answer the question of whether they were pressured by Scientology into removing the video.

There are more juicy bits from Beghe in a video to be released next week, including this claim:

“A Scientologist who’s ‘clear’ believes he’s no longer a Homosapien. He’s Homo-novis, a new race. They believe they are the only hope for this section of the galaxy, starting with planet Earth.”

He also claims that both Tom Cruise and John Travolta believe this.

And here I was thinking all this time that they were just your everyday kind of homos. Gee don’t I feel like a fool.

Travolta Admires Scarlett…and The Boys From Brokeback

Grease star John Travolta has admitted he adores Lost In Translation star, Scarlett Johansson.

The 53-year-old actor told MTV: “I adore Scarlett. She has an old-time essence about her. She is a classic type. She’ll be around forever.”

Two other young Hollywood stars who’ve caught Travolta’s eye are none other than Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal – the stars of Brokeback Mountain.

“There are a lot of young stars that I really like. The two guys from ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, I thought were great. And they’re part of the new generation coming through.”

I’ll bet he likes them!

“Scientology Could Have Saved Anna Nicole,” Says Travolta

John Travolta has come out of the closet (hehe…not in that way, but I couldn’t resist saying it ) and announced that Scientology and its drug rehab program, Narconon, could have saved Anna Nicole’s life, had she given them a chance.

“It’s so sad. We could have helped her with Narconon but didn’t get a chance to. I wish we had,” Travolta said.

Obviously, Travolta believes that it was drugs that killed Anna Nicole, even though the toxicology reports are yet to come back, and the medical examiner’s report suggests otherwise…

For those of you who don’t know (and I was one of them before reading this story), Narconon is a controversial drug rehab program run by the Church of Scientology. It uses unorthodox methods in order to ‘run out’ drugs and ‘radiation’ from the body. Some of these methods include an intensive running programme, large doses of vitamins and long sauna sessions.

Scientologists claim Narconon is 85 per cent effective, but critics say that this program is just another way the church is sucking in more followers, using the program as a front in order to recruit vulnerable drug abusers into the religion.

I could debate on this all day, but unfortunately, I try and stay out of the religious/political arguments…they tend to get quite heated…

Travolta’s Not Gay Says Attorney

John Travolta’s attorney has come out swinging after JT was photographed kissing another man before flying him to America on board his private jet.

Publicists insisted the smooch was harmless and Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston was on board the plane which ferried the actor and the family’s male ‘nanny’ home from Ontario, Canada.

And now Travolta’s lawyer Martin Singer has rushed to explain the kiss in an effort to end reports Travolta’s new cross-dressing role as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray have turned the actor gay. Turned him gay? As if that could happen!

Singer says, “As a manner of customary greeting and saying farewell, Mr. Travolta kisses both women and men whom he considers to be extremely close friends. Doesn’t everyone?

“People who are close to Mr. Travolta are aware of his customary, non-romantic gesture.” Sure they are.

But body-language expert Lillian Glass suggests the photo of Travolta kissing the nanny is more than just a friendly gesture.

She tells the Globe, “John appears to be really enjoying it. His head is leaning upwards, his lips are puckered, his body is leaning in to the guy… It appears to be quite intimate.” Enough said. [Source]

John Travolta – Rampant Cross-Dresser

As if it wasn’t bad enough that we had to look at pictures of John Travolta kissing another man, now we have to look at John Travolta dressed as a woman!!

Now, I don’t know about you, but I really don’t think the average heterosexual man goes around kissing other men and dressing in drag.

So, yes, John, we believe you when you say you’re not gay. Of course we do. How could we not?

Proof – Scientology Cures Homosexuality

I think I remember a lawsuit involving Scientology where it was claimed that John Travolta once stated that Scientology cured him of his homosexuality. Now I am not sure if it was true or not. I mean he seems like a straight up guy. He is also married to one very hot lady. However, there is something very unusual about this picture. I know JT has Italian ancestry, so perhaps this is simply nothing more then a European tradition but they both boarded the plane together in hamilton, Ontario.
