Isla Fisher’s A Hot Shopaholic

Isla Fisher’s star is certainly on the rise. She was recently voted Australia’s hottest woman, beating more notable names, including Miranda Kerr, Naomi Watts and Sophie Monk and with her new film, Confessions of a Shopaholic’, she has come a long way for the girl from ‘Home and Away’.

Not bad, considering she is a mother and shackeled with being married to Borat.

A lot of her popularity probably stems from her down-to-earth qualities. She still seems to not be buying into the entire ’star’ persona, being quite candid with her secrets of getting into shape for her role in the movie, even confessing to wearing spandex undergarments to smooth her stomach.
Isla says:

“Jerry Bruckheimer, the ‘Confessions…’ producer, hired a personal trainer to help me get rid of the 60lb I put on during pregnancy. He said I was lucky I was blessed with good genes because I had a really bad attitude towards exercise – like stopping when it hurt or got boring and having a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Apparently you are not supposed to do that in Hollywood.”

As I said, unaffected by celebrity.

As to the spandex undergarments, while it seems to be effective in Isla’s case, most of the women I see wearing spandex seem to think that it should be worn on the outside and no matter the qualities of the material, there are jsut some things it can’t hold in.

Isla Fisher Gives Birth To Mystery Baby

Aussie actress, Isla Fisher and her comedic partner, Sacha Baron Cohen, have welcomed a healthy baby into the world.

Notice I didn’t specify a gender? Well, that’s because no one’s quite sure exactly what sex the baby is just yet… some are reporting that the couple are now proud parents of a boisterous baby boy, while others believe it’s a little girl.

Her reps in the U.S. have refused to comment, but Isla’s Aussie management company, Adelaide Now, has apparently confirmed that it’s a girl.

What we can confirm is that the child was born at some stage on Wednesday (even the time of birth is up in the air at the moment!) Hopefully Isla’s reps will clear up all the confusion soon.

Isla Fisher Preggers With Twin Girls??

The other half of Ali G creator Sacha Baron Cohen, Aussie actress Isla Fisher, is rumoured to have created twin baby girls with her fiance, after going crazy on pink gear at a chic baby boutique in LA.

TMZ is reporting that Fisher stopped by West Hollywood baby stor, Petit Tresor on Friday, and purchased more than US $400 worth of clothing and linen – all in pink!

Isla took home a bunch of “onesies with the word ‘Supermodel’ written across the front,” and half a dozen baby blankets in cute animal print, starting the speculation that she’s having a little girl.

Sources say that while in the store, Isla picked up the zebra, giraffe and cow blankets and squealed, “I love these, we’re taking them on a safari!”

Yes… “them,” which is obviously a plural, and means more than one…

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how many babies she pops out when the time comes.

Isla Fisher Pregnant?

Us magazine is reporting that Aussie babe Isla Fisher is expecting her first child with beau Sacha Baron Cohen.

The announcement was made this morning on U.S. 102.7 KIIS FM radio show, “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” after pictures of Isla appeared with her dressed in loose-fitting garments, while attending the premiere of her new movie The Lookout.

Her rep was very sly with the reply, not saying either way whether the diminutive redhead was pregnant or not.

“If or when Isla becomes pregnant, she and her fiancé will decide if an announcement is necessary.”

So, do I hear the pitter-patter of little Borat feet?? I’ll let you guys be the judge of that…

Isla’s Bedroom Ultimatum

Aussie actress Isla Fisher has issued her famous fiance, Sacha Baron (aka Ali G) an ultimatum: “No Bruno in the bedroom or no sex!”

But what, or who is “Bruno,” you ask??

Bruno is a camp fashonista from Austria, whom Sacha plays in his latest movie.

According to a source, Sacha gets so into character during his films that he stays in them 24 hours a day, until the film is finished.

“Isla grudgingly endured months of living, and sleeping, with Borat,” the source said. “But now he plans to make a Bruno movie she says she absolutely won’t let him stay in character 24 hours a day.”

“She has issued him with an ultimatum no Bruno in the bedroom or no sex until the film is finished.”

I don’t blame her…I wouldn’t want to be fooling around in the bedroom with Bruno, the camp Austrian fashionista, either…

Borat is getting married.

Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat’s alter ego is getting ready to tie the knot with his actress girlfriend Isla Fisher now she has almost completely converted to Judaism.
