Hilary Duff Fires Back At Faye Dunaway

I reported the other day how aged actress, Faye Dunaway, criticized the planned remake of “Bonnie & Clyde and dissing Hilary Duff, by calling labeling not a real actress; well now Hilary has fired back with a great response.

“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.”

Classic! The gloves are off.

Faye Dunaway Disses Hilary Duff

A new indie remake of Bonnie and Clyde, the 1967 film starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway.

Apparnetly both actors responded the same way when told about the remake.

“Why?”

Director, Tonya S. Holly will direct ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’, based on her own screenplay, which she claims was not inspired by the 1967 film.

The real juicy bit of this tale, is the choice of Hilary Duff in the role of Bonnie.

On hearing this Dunaway reportedly said:

“Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”

That comment must cut right to the bone.

I don’t know where it would come from either, Hilary was great on Lizzie McGuire.

Hilary Needs Some Sun

Flashing your lily whites in public must be the latest craze in Hollywood right now (after popping out babies, of course).

Yesterday, Lindsay Lohan set the trend with knee-highs and cropped shorts. Hilary Duff, Lohan’s childhood rival, played copycat, wearing a similar ensemble in Toluca Lake.

I don’t know why they do it… it’s not exactly a flattering look on either of them.

Nicole Richie Jealous of Hilary Duff?

She may have won the man and fallen pregnant with his child, but apparently that’s not enough for Nicole Richie to rub in Hilary Duff’s face.

According to a source, Nic is constantly teasing her new beau, Joel Madden, about his former girlfriend, Miss Duff, making smart ass cracks about her claim-to-fame show, Lizze McGuire.

“She will ask if [Joel is] going to watch Lizzie McGuire DVDs or listen to Hilary’s albums,” the source explains. “Joel tells her she’s being out of line.”

Well, out of line she might be, but I think it’s quite obvious exactly what is fuelling these “ridiculing moments” from Nicole… she’s jealous of Hilary. After all, Hils is younger, hotter, and much more talented than Nic will ever be: who wouldn’t be jealous?

Hilary Duff Wears a Sack

Pop star and sometimes actress Hilary Duff turned up to this year’s Teen Choice Awards wearing nothing but a glorified sack!!

Sure, she added a fair bit of glitter fluff to it, but the lack of shape still makes it a sack in my eyes. The fact that she over-compensated the hideous dress with even more hideous bling just makes it that much worse.

At least she had a hit with her hair! (for a change!)
