Halle Berry Pregnant?

Halle Berry is two months pregnant – well, according to sources close to the Oscar-winning actress, anyway. News of her pregnancy has been a dream come true for Halle, who had always vowed to have a child before turning 40, but a series of bad relationships prevented that dream from ever coming true; however, doctors have warned the Catwoman star that her “dream come true” could very well be the toughest period of her life, because of her age and struggle with diabetes.

An insider revealed that at this point in time, Halle is extremely happy with being pregnant, but is also a little scared about the complications her diabetes could cause during the next seven months or so.

Medical experts say that women who fall pregnant while suffering from diabetes have an increased risk of miscarriage, stillbirth and a number a birth defects, and also give the child a greater risk of being born with heart, brain, kidney and spinal conditions.

With the right care, doctors say there’s no reason Halle can’t have a perfectly healthy baby, so the actress is said to be taking the utmost care with her pregnancy, and pulling out all the stops to give her child the best possible start in life.

No More Marriages For Halle

Oscar winning actress Halle Berry has sworn off marriage for the rest of her life, stating that she is content to just live her life without a ring or a piece of paper.

“I will never, never get married again,” she said recently.

“Actually it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.”

Halle’s anti-marriage status is due to two failed marriages, her unions with Atlanta Braves player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benét both ending in divorce.

She explains that when she met her current partner, model Gabriel Aubry, she wasn’t looking to start another relationship.

“After my last relationship [with actor Michael Ealy] broke up I was feeling like, well, it wasn’t that I didn’t want to be in a relationship, it’s just that I thought it would be okay to be on my own,” she says.

“But [Gabriel] was disarmingly sweet and caring and different. In the past I’ve been attracted to big personalities. Gabriel was shy. He hardly talked to me at first.”

“I had to work at this a little…It wasn’t a slam dunk; it wasn’t the guy just showering affection on me. It made it more interesting. We were equally matched – put it that way.”

I wonder if her views on marriage will put a strain on their relationship? Gabriel is nine years her junior, and as far as I know, has never been married before, so you would think that one day he might want to take a walk down the aisle himself…

At the moment, Halle Berry’s Los Angeles home is undergoing some major renovations, and she currently has a contract for $57,000 USD with an Orange County painting company to re-stain the wooden kitchen cabinets.

There are a few ‘little clauses’ on this particular contract that you might not find on anyone elses…

• Little Clause # 1: Any worker is prohibited to approach Berry while in the home or on the premises.
• Little Clause # 2: No one is allowed to speak to Halle at any time.
