Singer Gwen Stefani has welcomed second son, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, on Thursday in Los Angeles, a source has revealed.

Little Zuma was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed in at 8 1/2 lbs. Their first son, Kingston, celebrated his second birthday in May.

The couple said in a joint statement: “Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family. Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.”

Douglas Rossale, Stefani’s father-in-law, revealed the happy news to People.com earlier today.

“They and the whole family are delighted,” Rossdale said.

According to a source, Stefani is 13 weeks pregnant.

A host of Hollywood stars, from actors to singers, will compete in a special celebrity edition of American Idol, to be televised on April 24th and 25th.

The stars performing include Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, Pirates actress Keira Knightley, singers Gwen Stefani and Pink, as well as Teri Hatcher, Helena Bonham-Carter, Hugh Grant and Forrest Whitaker.

A show inside said: “It’s great to have such a strong array of A-list stars. We are getting a chance to expose a young audience to global issues.”

The episodes will raise much-needed funds for Charity Projects Entertainment Fund.

This sounds like a great idea, and hopefully a vid will pop up online, because it’s unlikely this will be shown in Australia.

Who do you think will win? At the moment, my money’s on either Knightley or Radcliffe. Both will have big fan bases in the U.S. from their box office smashes, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The awards are upon us again, and this time it’s the fans kids that decide.

Aussie actress Nicole Kidman attended the recent Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards in the U.S., where she accepted the award for Happy Feet on behalf on the film’s creator. Other than going a little OTT with the botox, Nic looked great in her red satin jacket and side ponytail.

At the show, she met up with American singer, Gwen Stefani, who seems to be getting back to her No Doubt days lately, in terms of her sense of style. Her outfit and hairdo are very reminiscent of her rock chick days, and as always, she’s sporting her trademark red pout.

Bad dresses were plentiful at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party!

We already know that Katie Holmes made a bad choice, but who else had a shocker in the fashion department??

Hayden Panettiere may have a beautiful face, but her choice of attire was all wrong. That dress is way too OTT with the sex appeal! And I’m not loving the colour, either (although I do love the accessories!)

Josh Jackson’s gal, Diane Kruger, was drawing attention to herself for all the wrong reasons, showing up in a horrid ruffled creation. It looks to me as though Diane was playing it safe with this one, after being all outrageous the other night. She should stick to outrageous…it suits her…and do something with that hair, please…it’s so boring!

One celeb who did get it right (IMO) was singer Gwen Stefain, accompanied by her hubby, Gavin.

Gwen was a vision in black and white! Her hair was lovely, her make-up was lovely…in fact, I loved this dress so much that I wish I had one! (Note to readers: if you know where I can get one, please let me know! =P )

Gwen Stefani has just signed on with cosmetic brand, Coty, to develop her own signature fragrance. The first cab off the rank is an as yet ‘unnamed’ women’s fragrance, which will be included in a whole line of fragrances in the future, to compliment her fashion and accessories label, L.A.M.B.

Speaking of L.A.M.B…Gwen has also just released a new handbag line to go with her already popular lines of clothing, watches and sneakers.

Sounds like Gwen’s going to be quite a busy girl in 07…a new fragrance, a new album, and a new handbag line…I hope Gavin knows how to play mum…

Gwen Stefani has announced that her new album, The Sweet Escape, will probably be her last solo record!

She said: “I don’t think I will make another (solo album). I can’t predict anything, but I don’t plan on making one of these solo dance project records, I definitely feel myself going back to No Doubt after this to do a new album.”

Gwen and the No Doubt boys haven’t an album since the success of Rock Steady in 2001.

I hope this really happens…I love Gwen, but I think the best music she’s ever made has been with No Doubt.
