Fergie Gets Married
Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel have married in a Malibu vineyard.
The former Black Eyed Peas singer and Las Vegas star first announced their engagement at the end of 2007, after dating for three years. They exchanged designer H. Stern rings in an “ultra-private” ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in California late on Saturday afternoon.
It was a monochromatic wedding, with the bride, groom and entire wedding party decked out in black and white Dolce & Gabbana. Fergie wore a fitted, corseted, ruched wedding gown in white with a mesh tulle overlay, spaghetti straps, and a long train.
Fergie’s manager has confirmed the marriage, releasing a short statement to Usmagazine.com earlier today.
“It’s official!” her manager said. “Fergie and Josh tied the knot in Malibu. The Black Eyed Peas were all there. The ceremony was incredible! And they’re still partying!”

Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie, has issued a warning to the pesky paparrazi hassling troubled young stars Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan – “Leave them alone.”
The 32-year-old pop star is no stranger to media pressure, having even dedicated a song on her new solo albulm to bloggers dissing her and her lifestyle, but she’s also no stranger to the problems currently afflicting “young Hollywood.”
“They’re young,” Fergie said. “I was young when I went through my stuff. Leave them alone. If they want to get better, they’re going to get better on their own.”
Both Spears and Lohan have spent a number of unsuccessful rehab stints between them for their drug and alcohol addictions, and Fergie believes that they’ve yet to succeed in “kicking the habit,” because they’re spending too much time worrying about what the world of celeb gossip thinks of them.
“If somebody is going to change, they have to want to do it themselves,” said Fergie. “I think it is really unfair to them when they are trying to get help. We’re all watching as a nation and commenting day by day on their rehabilitation. It’s not fair. You’re supposed to have a sanctuary, a place where you can go and not be pressured every day.”
Or, in Lindsay’s case, a place to hide out from the cops until all of her pending court cases are concluded…

I’d never noticed the similarities between Carmen Electra and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie before, and I’m shocked that it took me this long, actually.
I could have sworn that the image above of Carmen was in fact Fergie… that is, until I read the caption on the website which clearly told me it was Ms. Electra.

Fergie Sells Out
Pop star Fergie has become the first singer in history to use product placement in her music, and is being paid an insane amount of money to do so – US $4 million, to be exact!
Clothing ling Candie’s is willing to hand over the big bucks as long as Fergie puts subliminal messages promoting the company in her music.
An executive at Interscope Records explains:
“With record sales in decline, you must find novel ways to make money out of the music. The trick is to make the brand part of the song so that it slips down easily rather than chokes the fan. Candie’s will have no say over exactly what Fergie will sing, or when. Fergie does not sing jingles so it will have to work unobtrusively in the song.”
See, everyone has a price they’re willing to sell out for, but given Fergie’s lack of content to her music, I think she would have jumped at even one hundred grand to add more relatable lyrics to her songs.

Another awards show, another one of my awards mega-posts!
Last night’s Australian MTV Video Music Awards was a star-studded event, with both local and international talent turning up for the evening’s festivities.
As I’ve already mentioned, BFF Nicole Richie and Aussie Sophie Monk were there to lend a helping hand, as well as Aussie singing sensation The Veronicas, Black Eyed Peas female vocalist Fergie, Marilyn Manson’s ex-Dita Von Teese, and Laguna Beach reject, Kristin Cavallari (among others).
