Beckham Says No to Films

He might be one of the world’s most photographed and sort-after men, but don’t expect to see David Beckham’s face on a blockbuster billboard any time soon.

The British football star has revealed that he has no plans to jump into the movie industry, and if he’s to be believed, that’s the way it’s going to stay.

When asked if he’d be interested in developing a film career, Beckham told Britain’s GQ magazine: “What film career? I haven’t got one.

“Never say never,” Beckham added, “except about that! And that’s the way it’s going to stay.”

The Beckhams Escape Injury in Car Accident

Hollywood couple Victoria and David Beckham were lucky to walk away without injury following a horrific car accident in France on Friday.

The pair were on their way to Nice airport to catch a flight to Beijing when the accident occurred. Becks reportedly smashed their black BMW “laterally” into a wall, shattering the windscreen and crumpling panels along the passenger side, where Victoria was sitting.

No other vehicles were invovled in the accident.

Becks was photographed by paparazzi consoling a “tearful” Victoria, who was quite shaken after the crash. However, because of the extensive damage to the vehicle, Becks and his wife’s father, Tony Adams, were forced to rush to the airport so that he could make his flight to Beijing, where he would be performing in the closing ceremony.

Victoria was left on her own to handle the wrecked car.

David Beckham “Nervous” About Underwear Shoot

After all the times David Beckham has dropped his duds for the camera, you’d think an ad campaign for Emporio Armani underwear would be right up his alley. Apparently not.

The 32-year-old soccer star told The Tonight Show on Tuesday that he was “so nervous” about the Armani shoot, and was afraid of what his wife and mother would think of him stripping down to his tighty-whities on a billboard.

Victoria Beckham Says, “David is All Man!”

There have been rumours that soccer star David Beckham’s “package” has been digitally altered in the new advertisements for Giorgio Armani, but wife Victoria aka. Posh Spice has said this is simply not true.

Victoria insisted that her husband was “all man,” and went on to describe, in rather great detail, just how big his manhood really is.

“I’m proud I still have a really good sex life with David,” Victoria said. “He is very much in proportion. He does have a huge one, though. He does. You can see it in the advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe!”

What I want to know is whether he has to curl it around itself three times before it fits inside his underwear. Or is that a little too much information??

Tom Cruise to be Beckham’s Boss?

Ever heard the saying “Don’t mix business with pleasure?” It’s a pretty popular one, and it definitely makes sense, but Tom Cruise being the self-proclaimed almighty man that he is has chosen to ignore it and make himself the boss of close pal David Beckham.

The Mission: Impossible actor is said to be launching a US $80 million takeover bid of Beckham’s new soccer club, Los Angeles Galaxy.

Apparently, Cruise is such a huge soccer fan that he wants to give his financial backing to his pal’s team, and in doing so, make himself David’s boss.
A source said: “To have Tom’s backing would be amazing – there’s no way Galaxy bosses would turn down that opportunity.”

Gee, so now David has to put up with Tom’s Scientology talk during games instead of just in between them…

Photo of the Week: New Disney Ad Campaign

Disney has unveiled its latest ad campaign in order to attract even more people to its successful parks, Disneyland and Disneyworld…by dressing up celebrities as some of the most recognised fantasy characters of all time!!!

Scarlett Johansson is Cinderella, wearing a designer ball gown and diamond tiara.

“Scarlett couldn’t wait to put on that tiara,” said photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

“It wasn’t hard to coax my foot into the iconic glass slipper; it’s every little girl’s dream, mine included,” Scarlett said.

Beyonce Knowles is Alice, alongside Oliver Platt and Lyle Lovett.

“It was Annie’s idea for me to play Alice,” Beyonce said. “If she wanted me to do it, I was up for it, because she’s such a genius.”

Soccer star David Beckham played Sleeping Beauty’s Prince.

“I’m the prince, and I’m sort of slaying a dragon, which is something I’ve never done before, obviously,” David said. “When I was called about it and asked to do it, I was very honored and really looking forward to it, especially with Annie doing the pictures.”

It sounds as though they all had so much fun with the shoot, and the pictures turned out wonderful!!!

A Very Beckham Christmas

It’s only been two days since Christmas, and already the celeb holiday stories are starting to roll in…it doesn’t look like the paps stop – even for Christmas!

The Beckhams’ story begins on Christmas Eve…Becks and Posh were spotted leaving Claridges Hotel in Mayfair, with their three gorgeous children Brooklyn (7), Romeo (4), and Cruz (22 months). Apparently they had just been Christmas shopping (or they sucked down mochacino’s while their minders did it for them).

An onlooker said: “They both looked gorgeous. Most of us look a bit haggard after hitting the shops so hard – but not Posh and Becks.”

And on Christmas Day…

Instead of the traditional English Christmas dinner cooked at home, the Beckhams chose to spend the day with their children in the high-class Cuba restaurant in Covent Garden, Central London. Becks reportedly gave Posh another pair of of Louboutin’s for Christmas…wonder what the kids got?? [Source]

Elton John & The Beckhams No Longer Friends

Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham and her husband David were once two of Sir Elton John’s most favourite people, but now it seems they’ve grown apart as friends, and the trio hardly see each other anymore.

The last time they were together was at Elton’s wedding to David Furnish in December last year, and according to sources, Elton has since decided to “distance” himself from the high-profile couple.

According to a source, one of the reasons behind the ‘distance’ is that Elton feels the Beckhams have been taking his generosity for granted, and now he’s had enough.

“Elton has always been so generous to Victoria and David in the past. But sometimes it’s easy to feel like people are taking things for granted.”

“The Beckhams stay at his house in France all the time and have his staff running around after them. Which is baffling – they have their own house nearby.” [Source]

I think maybe Victoria and David had already ditched Elton before he ditched them…they have TomKat to deal with now, and let’s face it, being best buds with one of the most publicised couples in the world right now will probably get you in more newspapers and magazines than being best buds with Elton John!!!

The Beckhams’ Star is Falling

Poor Posh and Becks’ popularity seems to have hit a little snag…ever since Becks resigned (and lost the World Cup) as the English Captain.

As of yesterday, David Beckham has been dropped at the face of Police sunglasses.ÂÂ

The company had been paying Becks £1million a year for six years, but decided to drop his as he became “less of a commodity” after the World Cup.

A source from Police said: “The contract was due to end on September 15.”

“But in the months running up to [the World Cup], there were issues over the World Cup and the resulting fall-out for David. The decision to go for a more worldwide-appeal personality came in the light of that.”

Becks has been replaced at Police by Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas, who’s 46.

The source added: “Antonio was seen as more of an alpha male. The brand was also keen to have a personality which meant more to U. S. audiences.”

A spokesperson for Becks said the relationship with Police was ’successful’ but both parties ‘wanted to move in different directions’.
