Avril Can Afford To Have Her Fangs Filed

Avril Lavigne has raked in so much money from the YouTube video for her single ‘Girlfriend’, that she is splashing out to get her fangs fixed.

The video has been viewed over 100 million times, with each viewing having an advert that pays Avril a set fee. So far she has earned over $1 million from those views. Not bad scratch for an old clip.

With all this extra moola, Avril has decided to get her fangs filed.

Avril is very self conscious about her pointy teeth and plans to have them fixed as soon she can take some time off from singing.

Going by some of the reviews and problems at her shows, that shouldn’t be too far away.

Avril Lavigne Sex Tape?

Avril Lavigne is the latest star to reportedly have a sex tape doing the rounds.

What is it with all these films, it is not as if all the stars go around filming themselves getting rogered now is it?

Oh wait, for a lot of them, that is pretty accurate.

Anyway, this clip shows someone who is meant to be Avril riding on top, while her new single, ‘Don’t Tell Me’ plays in the background.

The girl in the video has a similar build and appearance to Avril. I have seen the video, but I am calling BS on it. I just think Avril is too nice a girl to do this kind of thing.

There’s Something About Avril

I know the vast majority of the blogging World has issues with Avril Lavigne, but I think she is alright.

Sure she has been accused of making music to die to, if not totally plagiarising it, she has been known to spit on people, has an attitude most of the time for the press and paparazzi, she farts a bit, gives the finger, oh yeah, and she has crap fashion sense, wears the wrong kind of shoes, has weird nail polish and her makeup can be a little off, but I reckon that there is still something about Avril.

Plus, she has pink in her hair.

Avril Lavigne Steals Songs

What’s happened to the world of pop music these days? Ripping off other artist’s performances (ala Beyonce Knowles), and now, stealing other people’s songs (also ala Beyonce)! And the scary part is, this kind of disgusting, illegal behaviour is fast becoming the norm in the entertainment industry.

Usually one to steer clear of the trends, Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is the latest performer to be accused of stealing songs from other singer/sonwriters.

In the most recent issue of Performing Songwriter, guest Chantal Kreviazuk, also Canadian, explains how Avril ripped off one of her songs.

Chantal said: “I find it funny that [the interview with Avril is] in Performing Songwriter. I mean, Avril, songwriter? Avril doesn’t really sit and write songs by herself or anything. Avril will also cross the ethical line, and no one says anything. That’s why I’ll never work with her again. I sent her a song two years ago called ‘Contagious,’ and I just saw the track listing to this album (The Best Damn Thing) and there’s a song called ‘Contagious’ on it–and my name’s not on it. What do you do with that?”

Normally, you’d contact your lawyer, like the woman who’s suing Beyonce Knowles for a similar thing did recently, but Chantal insists cheap suing isn’t what she’s about, and she doesn’t want to subject her “art” to that kind of controversy. She’d much rather bitch about Avril and smear her name around the music business.

Now, if it was me, I’d rather bitch about her and get money for it.

Something very rare has happened; Avril Lavigne actually smiled at a camera lens.

Normally Avril is more accustomed to spitting at paparazzi cameras then smiling for them, so these shots make a nice change.

All she has to do now is work on her dress sense.

Avril Shows Pretty & Punk Don’t Mix

Avril Lavigne showed up to her album release party, dressed as an uncoordinated pink, punk fairy!

The outfit, fashionably finished off by a pair of dark Doc Marten’s, is by far the worst I’ve seen this year – and I may even go as far as to say it’s almost in the same league as that whole “chick wearing a swan” debacle a few years back.

Almost. At least Avril’s not wearing a bird… yet.

Let’s hope that her new album is better than her fashion sense!
