Justin & Ashton At War Over Trucker Caps

Yes, you read right: pop superstar Justin Timberlake and Hollywood’s resident prankster, Ashton Kutcher, are at war… over trucker caps.

According to Timberlake, Kutcher has declared that he was responsible for the trucker cap craze that swept the globe in recent years, but the Sexy/Back singer insists that this isn’t true.

“It’s funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps,” Timberlake told supplement magazine Fashion Rocks. “[But my best friend Trace Ayala and I] were wearing them when we were seventeen.”

Yes… but was Timberlake as famous and as influential at seventeen as he is now? I think not.

Kutcher is yet to comment on Timberlake’s attempted stealing of his “trucker cap phenomenon” crown, though he’ll no doubt be a little miffed.

Here’s hoping for a violent, Punk’d-style retaliation.

Ashton Kutcher Likes Aussie Girls’ Drinking Habits

During a plug for his latest film What Happens in Vegas, resident Hollywood prankster Ashton Kutcher sat down with Australia’s Getaway, and dished the dirt on just what he thinks of our fabulous country (and the girls in it!).

“I did a 13-day tour of Australia knocking off Melbourne, Sydney and hanging out in Byron Bay. It was pretty extravagant — learnt how to surf and I drank a lot of beer,” Ashton explained.

Beer and surfing… that pretty much goes hand-in-hand with living in the Land of Oz. What Ashton wasn’t ready for, and was quite shocked at, was the amount of alcohol our Aussie gals can down in a session.

Ashton said: “Australian girls can drink, I mean I’ve never been so impressed with a woman’s ability to hold down booze in my life. I went to college with a lot of alcoholics, but let me tell ya, Australian people can really put them back and I appreciate it.”

However, he didn’t appreciate it so much when he worked out that just because an Aussie girl is drunk, that doesn’t necessarily make her easy…

“And that’s the trick about those Australian girls because you think that their drinking so much that it’s going to make things easier. It doesn’t, it really doesn’t make things easier you know,” Kutcher said. “You really think you’ve got a one up but you don’t.”

I gather from that information that when Ashton came out to Australia, Demi didn’t come with him…

Demi Wants a Tribe of Kutchers

Demi & Ashton

Demi Moore has let slip to Vanity Fair that she would love to have children with her young hubby, Ashton Kutcher.

In the interview, Demi admits that she is “most definitely” thinking about having a little tribe of Kutchers. “Once you hit three, where you’re outnumbered, it’s really, like, ‘What’s the difference between (three or) four or five?” Demi said.

Demi adds that Ashton coming into her life was the best thing that’s ever happened to her.

“If somebody would have said, ‘O.K., here is the prediction: You’re going to meet a man 25 years-old, and he’s going to see being with you and having your three children as a bonus,’ I would have said ‘Keep dreaming.’”

“I think it caught us both by surprise, particularly him. He was in this real rise of his career just as we met, which for a young man is prime opportunity for heavy-duty play.”

While Demi thinks that working on a film with Ashton would be a dream come true, she believes that it can sometimes be the ‘kiss of death’ for Hollywood pairings.

“We’ve teased each other recently about doing ‘The Graduate’ on Broadway but, you know, historically, real couples being on-screen together never seems to work. But a project that we create, that we’re maybe more behind-the-scenes? I couldn’t think of anything better, because there isn’t anybody that I would rather spend my time with.”

Despite the big age difference, Demi and Ashton seem to be one of the more stable Hollywood couples I’ve seen in a while…
