Britney’s Not a Fan of Fed-Bashing

Britney Spears was apparently ‘inconsolable,’ after a skit making fun of her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline, preceded her presentation at last night’s American Music Awards.
A rep for Britney has confirmed that she was not impressed with the performance, which was host Jimmy Kimmel’s idea, and said “[Britney] had no idea”…she was “incredibly upset” and “inconsolable.”
The skit featured host Kimmel ” sealing a Federline look-a-like in a wooden crate and shipping him out to sea.” Kimmel then called Federline “the world’s first ever no-hit wonder.” Soon after that, Britney was introduced as a surprise presenter.
When contacted by TMZ, a rep for Kimmel confirmed that the idea for the skit was his, and that “[Kimmel] knew they wouldn’t mind because [he] knows they both have great senses of humor.”
Despite all of this, Britney still managed to keep her cool on stage. [Source]
