For those of you who missed all the action Britney created on Thursday evening, here’s a quick breakdown of what exactly happened, and when…
- 7 p.m. - This was the time when Britney was scheduled to hand over her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to ex-hubby Kevin Federline’s bodyguard for the start of his custody period.
- 8:30 p.m. -Britney refuses to hand over the children, and the police arrive after being called to the Spears residence to settle a “custodial dispute.” Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed’s attorney, also arrives on the scene.
- 9 p.m. – Kaplan leaves Britney’s residence, and Sorrell Trope, Spears’ own attorney who quit last week, releases a statement on the pop star’s behalf.
- 10:08 p.m. – Spears’ home is surrounded by news helicopters and the world’s media. An LAPD officer tells waiting paparazzi that Britney “appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance.”
- 10:50 p.m. – The fire department appears on the scene. Jason Lee, an officers for the LAPD, releases a statement to Usmagazine.com regarding the ongoing dispute.
- 11:05 p.m. – A mental evaluator is called, and paramedics on the scene take a gurney and backboard into Britney’s house.
- 11:25 p.m. – An ambulance arrives.
- 11:50 p.m. – Spears’ two children are taken to nearby Cedars-Sinai hospital for a medical evaluation. Soon after, a secured Britney is taken in an ambulance to the same facility.
- 12:40 p.m. – Screens are erected by police at the hospital to prevent waiting paparazzi from getting any shots. Soon after, Britney arrives in the ambulance at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. Her arrival is followed by that of Kevin Federline and pal Sam Lutfi.
- 1:10 a.m. – Jamie Spears, Britney’s estranged father, arrives at the hospital.
- 3:45 a.m. - News from the hospital is that Spears will remain inside under the “5150 hold,” as staff believe she is a danger to herself.
