Britney Spears Released From Hospital

After a tumultuous twenty-four hours, Britney Spears has been released from Cedars-Sinai hospital, a decision that appears to have been made without consultation to any of the parties involved in her ongoing custody battle.
According to TMZ.com, Britney told staff at the hospital that she was done being held against her will, and then proceeded to throw the tantrum of the century in order to force them to let her go.
Multiple sources have confirmed that Spears was “throwing a fit on the 7th floor of Cedars-Sinai.” She “demanded to leave,” and had started to scream at the staff, refusing to lie down or sit still. The sources also claim that Britney “pulled her IV out,” and was a very “difficult” patient to control.

Doctors at Cedars-Sinai released the star without consulting any of the lawyers in her case, after they deemed the Toxic singer was no longer a danger to herself or others. This ruling comes mere hours after she was secured under a “5150 hold,” which means she could be held “against her will for a maximum of 72 hours.”
Although there is “significant evidence” to suggest Britney is suffering from some kind of mental disorder, the hospital is not allowed to hold her against her will to treat such a condition. When she demanded to be set free, the doctors at Cedars-Sinai had no choice but to grant her wish.
Let’s just hope their decision to release her doesn’t back-fire on them, and that Brits doesn’t end up doing something stupid now that she’s free.
