Britney Spears Investigated For Child Abuse

According to TMZ.com, Britney Spears is not only being investigated for possible animal cruelty, but also the alleged abuse of her children!

In the L.A. County Superior Court today, an unscheduled hearing was held in reference to the abuse claims, and the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is now conducting an active investigation into Brits and the way she treats her two kids.

Both Britney’s lawyer, Dennis Wasser, and ex-husband K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, were present at the hearing. A follow-up custody hearing has been scheduled to take place on September 4.

Britney’s rep was not available for comment on the matter.
