Is this a preview of things to come, I wonder??
At approximately 9:25 PM this evening, Miss Britters “booked herself with the LAPD,” for the misdemeanor charges of hit and run. According to TMZ.com, Spears handed herself over to the cops at the Van Nuys Valley jail, where she was “put through standard booking procedures,” which included “booking photographs, fingerprinting and the collection of information.”
The police at the station have said that Brits was very cooperative throughout the entire process, and that she refused to be lead out the back door when asked, opting instead to deal with the paparazzi onslaught waiting outside the front entrance.
Britney spent around 45 minutes in the jail during the booking process. Here’s hoping that next time (and given her recent track record, the chances are pretty high that there will be a next time!) she gets a little longer than three quarters of an hour…
